Love this!!! Poor zombie thread!

I prefer the real stuff... Real cream, real milk, butter, yogurt, cheese. If I'm going to spend the calories on it, I would like to enjoy it!

In for the opposing opinions!! Thank you Friday. ETA: bad spelling.... :grumble:

Absolutely start logging your food and exercise! Once you do that, you'll be able to see where you need to make adjustments.

Almonds, pistachios are some of my favorites! I also LOVE pickles. Hummus and veggie sticks are a great choice too. I haven't tried, but what about kale chips? Supposedly they're pretty yummy.

^^^ This is what I would do!! Frittatas are a great solution! I made one for brunch once with smoked salmon. It was a Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) recipe. Rave reviews! Here is the recipe! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ina-garten/smoked-salmon-frittata-recipe.html

And I lost 3lbs this week because I haven't had wine... . I should be happy I know, but nothing like a 3lb loss to demonstrate I may have been doing it wrong! OP, I think that if you are logging accurately (weighing and measuring your foods) and you can truly fit it in your day, you can enjoy in moderation. If you…

I meal plan a week in advance (mainly for shopping purposes), but I don't log it until after I eat. I find myself being more accountable that way.

I think it's because Fitbit is estimating the calories you burn throughout the day. It makes your calorie goal kind of like a moving target based on your activity level. The calorie goal from MFP is more static.

It also depends on how your height had been measured before (ie: from front or back).

In for the lulz!

I love Vinyasa Flow... It feels amazing!

I've just started yoga too and I love it! I haven't been able to go more than once per week so far. I can't really comment on going back to back days. I agree with the other posters and suggest listening to your body. It will tell you if you can go back to back! Good luck!

I failed.... :-(

^^^ all of the above! I lost mine a few months ago (turns out that my cats stole it and took it to the basement). I contacted Fitbit and after waiting a few days (following the above advice), they sent me a new one with no questions asked! They have great customer service!

It depends how large the pieces are as well as the thickness, but I would estimate that 2 to 2-1/2 slices would get you pretty close. Get a food scale. Makes it much easier!! Good luck!

What just happened?

I would think going to the doctor would be a good choice. Even if it's a holistic one.

Weird... I've noticed recently that if I do cardio I am starving after and if I do yoga I have no desire to graze. On the days I don't work out I am ravenous! I bet it's some sort of mental/wellness thing?

My honey drives me so crazy with his bro science and misinformation I won't even discuss it with him anymore. His latest now that I am not working and have been exercising during the day is "you know you're not going to be able to do this when you go back to work". Well no **** Sherlock! But do you want me just to sit on…

We spend about $100-$125/week on groceries. That covers breakfast, lunch, and dinners plus snacks. We rarely eat out... Maybe once/month and that's usually a brunch or breakfast.

Hard boiled eggs, string cheese, pre-portioned nuts, piece of fruit...

Dinner from last night. My homage to the Hawaiian plate lunch. Short ribs, macaroni salad, sticky rice on a bed of fresh cabbage

Ok! Here goes! Breakfast this morning! Lunch this afternoon

Yey!! Now how to make it smaller??? And also, do you need to do something different to post on the MFP blog?

Sorry to revive this old post, but I need to figure this out!!
