I was home. I heated up some left over steak from last night and added to arugula, parmesan cheese and balsamic dressing. I typically eat leftovers or make salads with chicken that I've cooked ahead (think chef, cobb, blt etc).

I am always leary of low calorie dressings (other than salsa or straight oil and vinegar). But I have to chime in on the Bolthouse yogurt dressings. Really delicious.

I just focus on myself. "Comparison is the thief of joy".

I had a crispy english muffin topped with chive and onion cream cheese and smoked salmon. So yummy!

They are great in salad or in pasta as well. Last night I made a delicious pasta dish with sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and hot italian sausage. So delicious!

Kerrygold is great! I don't buy it often due to cost, but it truly is the best butter I've tasted.

I do my main shopping once per week and then may make some supplemental trips for other things.

I have been on a BLT salad with chicken and avocado dressing lately... So much yum!

@avskk It's ridiculously easy. It's just cream of chicken soup and a ranch dressing packet mixed together. I found an organic brand (Pacific) of the soup instead of Campbell's. I just poured the gravy over the chops and cooked in crockpot on low for about 4 hours.

I have never really cared for sweet potato, but I recently tried them chopped and seasoned with cumin and chipotle chili powder and then fried in a pan. Changed my life!

Good! I have been using smaller plates and even smaller utensils to help! I also pay attention to if I am really hungry or if I am just trying to clean my plate. This has been so helpful in portion control.

What you could do is create a blog post for yourself with the instructions etc. Then just use the recipe section for calorie count. Also, I think that if you write the blog post first and then import that post with the URL it will let you link from the recipe builder to the post for instructions.
-
There is also a thread in the recipe section where a lot of people share their food photos. Some great inspiration!

There's an app called Meal Logger that works great for taking photos of your food. It's like a photographic food journal. Good luck!

^^^ Yes!! Lol... Cool down feature!

Best thing to do would be to add it in the recipe builder and go from there.

I have a nutri-ninja that is awesome. It does single serve smoothies and also has a blender and food processor attachement.

I usually meal plan on Sunday for 3-4 days. A flexible plan works best for my household.

I love green tea! But I haven't noticed that it's made any difference.

Sad food makes me sad! When I go out to eat, I may not eat all my dinner, but what I do eat is delicious and flavorful. OP, have a good time and enjoy yourself. Just think in terms of portion control!

Meal planning is the biggest key for me!

Breakfast lately has been a half an english muffin with onion and chive cream cheese topped with smoked salmon... So delicious (it used to be greek yogurt and berries- that's good too). For lunch- a green salad with sauteed chicken, avocado, bacon, tomato and ranch dressing- It tastes like a BLT. Or rotisserie chicken…
