Dinner yesterday!

I usually just warm a corn tortilla and top with re-fried black beans (I like to add a little chopped jalapeno or hot sauce and some lime juice), a fried egg and then garnish with pico de gallo, cheddar cheese and cilantro. Serve with a lime!

Why is a salad too difficult? I usually take a salad with the dressing separate in my bag with a ice pack. It stays cool and crisp. You could try bento box style- so basically just a bunch of finger foods ie" meat and cheese roll-up, fruit, etc.

We made this chili this week to take for lunches. Awesome on it's own or over a baked potato. http://www.cookingforbabe.com/2015/01/babes-beef-chili.html

One of my favorites is Organize Yourself Skinny. She has some pretty good recipes, but really has some great tips on meal planning, freezer cooking etc. Her style is pretty approachable I think.

My go-to kitchen appliances: Crock-pot Food scale Immersion blender Keurig Electric wine bottle opener :p My fiance just bought me a Ninja blender with a food processor attachment. I am super excited to use it! I also have a mini food processor and a hand mixer, but I don't use those often.

I haven't thought of Sriracha!!! I love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches. I'm thinking I'll make one right now!

Good for you! I have tried forever to make wine fit in with my calorie and macro goals, but I have realized that it's holding me back. Plus after observing my fiance have a complete melt down of day drinking today (he's on vacation), I've realized it's not fun anymore! Good luck on your endeavors!

Really? From the first paragraph of your link. only intended pre-surgery. It should not be followed afterwards or by anyone else. OP... don't do this... Dang it... zombie thread...

With the exception of Chipotle, I can't remember the last time I had fast food. I think it was probably a BBQ Bacon Cheddar Smashburger (no bun). Anyway, my go to at Chipotle is a chicken burrito bowl, no rice or beans (maybe occasionally if I have room in my macros), tomatillo salsa, hot salsa, tiny bit of sour cream and…

I have a fit bit one and I love it. I have been wearing it consistently for just over 3 years and it "knows" me well at this point. I have some friends that have a Jawbone and they have had some problems. Really at the end of the day they really can build awareness of your activity level. Can be a great tool if you use it!

1. Stay on track with my eating, activity and logging 2. Reduce my body fat by 5+ percent 3. Run my first 5K 4. Insert more yoga into my fitness routine.

Some great suggestions! Also check out the blog Organize yourself skinny. She has a ton of methods for meal prep and freezer cooking!

Velveeta cheese sandwiches, hamburger helper, vegetables from a can (especially green beans). I'm sure there's more!

Christmas Eve: Surf and Turf with NY strip and Crab Legs, mashed red potatoes and asparagus on side Christmas Day: Ham, creamy scalloped potatoes, green beans almondine, home made rolls... Also a crap ton of wine and prosecco...
-
This is pretty much my approach. At this point I am more worried about body fat, measurements and activity than I am on the scale.

plain greek yogurt with berries, left overs, smoked salmon with arugula lettuce dressed with lemon and olive oil (I toss a little avocado on here too).
-
My favorite is mayo, yellow mustard, dill pickle relish and finely chopped onion... I've heard that avocado is supposed to be pretty good!

I 100% get what you are saying. Why this works for me is that when I first started cooking for others I paid no attention to portion control and would eat an equal amount to my boyfriend at the time who was extremely active and fit. He needed to eat a lot more than I did but I had no concept of proper portions. Now I do,…

The "tricks" I use are: Meal planning (usually plan and shop on Saturday and then prep and cook on Sunday) Small plates Lots of water If I am serving my fiance, I make sure that I don't have a portion equal in size to him If I do have a snack, I will portion it out.

you could slice them thin and cook them in a saute pan with onions and smoked sausage... Yum!

I am going to do a Whole30 starting in January. Only planned cheat will be my birthday! I will have some wine that day!
-
I want a BLT too!
-
braise it! Or cole slaw...
-
I love the little saute express squares! Also I usually make a big batch of shredded chicken and then toss it in various sauces (ie: buffalo and bbq). I love to play with various marinades as well. I use a great one for steak with chipotle chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper and some lime juice... OMG

Run a 5K and lose 30lbs!

An entire bag of ruffles with french onion dip... ALL BY MYSELF in one sitting... also, entire pizzas. But worst of all was eating a big fat burrito from Chipotle plus an order of 3 soft tacos AND chips and guacamole IN ONE SITTING... SMH...
