I am doing a Dirty Girl on Saturday and I am scared to death as I haven't trained either. But I am doing it with a team (a group of girls I do bootcamp workouts with). I know we will all stick together and that this race is designed for all fitness levels, so that makes me feel a little better. I just hope I don't hold the…

Maybe change from fat free yogurt to greek yogurt? Also, if veggies don't work on their own, how about veggie sticks and hummus? Apples and some sort of nutbutter? Basically try snacks that have some protein with them. ETA: Check out Pintrest for some healthy "fiber one" type bars you can make yourself! Good luck!

If you just had a gastric bypass just over a month ago, be patient and give it time. Your body is still healing...

There was a good blog about this yesterday on MFP... http://blog.myfitnesspal.com/2014/09/your-meal-planning-playbook/

Must give this a try!

In for shenanigans!

I am planning to start C25K this week. Great advice! Thank you!

The best I can suggest is to 1. /Save up calories over the entire week so you can indulge a bit on the weekend 2. Have an extra workout on the weekend to get you some calories to use 3. Don't worry about drinking. I'm sure your friends love you for you and you may discover you have a lot more fun being sober than in the…

I use real butter!

I really need to give this a try!

I have a similar recipe! It's amazing. 1lb ground beef (I use 90/10) 1 medium sliced onion 4-6 slices of bacon 1 egg 2 TBSP bbq sauce + 1/4 Cup divided 1/4C panko bread crumbs 2oz cheddar cheese cubed Cook bacon and set aside to cool. Carmelize sliced onions in bacon fat (about 20-30 minutes). Set aside to cool Mix…

That looks amazing!

Love!

I use a brita filter pitcher. I have also tried zero water filtered water (from the portable bottle), that's pretty good too.

I keep a bag of 72% dark chocolate on hand just for this! Satisfies my sweet tooth. You could even pair it with berries if you like. Also, flavored yogurt is a good alternative!

Eat the cheese!! I usually have string cheese and laughing cow wedges on hand. But honestly some rich and salty cheese like aged gouda goes a long way! You won't be able to eat much. A couple ounces of beautiful decadent cheese, some gorgeous fruit and a lovely glass of wine are the things that make life wonderful!!

So many things! But first idea is Garlic mashed potatoes with a green roasted veg (like asparagus, broccoli) or sautéed spinach

I log it under circuit training. It's pretty inflated though. On the runkeeper app there is an exercise you can log as bootcamp. On MFP for me 35 minutes is 350+ calories. On Runkeeper the same time is about 225 or so. So take that into consideration when eating cals back!
-
I think officially it's between 500-1000 calories/day typically monitored by a Dr.
-
If you want to still log any step based activities you can, just enter the time you began and the duration. The link between Fitbit and MFP will workout the adjustment. I only log step based activities if it is truly extraneous to my regular activity. Otherwise, I let Fitbit do it's thing.

I don't get offended and I have never deleted anyone from my friends list. Sometimes I worry about some of my friends and their habits/obsessions, but I don't delete.

I'm sure you'll see some on the Recipe forum

This thread made me crave Chipotle like you wouldn't believe! I went yesterday. Chicken burrito bowl, no rice, no beans, tomatillo salsa, hot salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. It was delicious. I didn't see anything extraordinary about the portions except maybe on the sour cream. Meat looked right to me based on the…

I had grouper for the first time last week. Wow was it delicious! OP: I am a fan of shellfish too. If you don't like fish, just stick with that!

Maybe try using baggies? As long as you don't mind throwing things away. For example; I usually have greek yogurt with berries and maybe granola. I'll take the yogurt in it's container and then the granola and berries in baggies and then mix it together. Obviously wouldn't work with everything, but could help a little.…

QFT. And grits! I keep trying to like them because they look so good, but they remind me too much of cream of wheat which my mother tortured me with as a child. Trauma... Lol
