  • I was feeling like that, too. Who knew that my iron saturation and Ferritin levels were low. I just started to take an iron supplement, and I'm starting to feel better. I started to take a multivitamin as well. I usually eat chicken and fish, but I'm trying to eat a little more red meat, and Vitamin C. I switched my cereal…

  • I only take it if I feel like I had too much sodium. Gosh, it makes me "pee". I put a teaspoon of honey, and a tablespoon of ACV in warm water. I drink it quickly with a straw. It can be damaging to the enamel of your teeth. I think some people put it on their salads etc.
  • A cup of coffee keeps me "right as rain". Just once daily.

  • We are similiar except for age. I'm 48, 5'5", currently 175 lbs, starting wt. 212.5(in December), goal wt. 129 lbs. MFP has me at 1480 calories, to lose 1 lb a week, which I usually do. My BMR is 1496, my TDEE is 1792. I try to hit between those two levels on a daily basis. I sort of do the zig zag method. I walk on my…
  • I was hoping you had a sense of humor. I'm going to have to play "971" on the numbers game tonight. My first name is Lisa as well. It has to be a sign. Don't sweat the 4 lbs. You've lost 60 lbs, so you definitely know what you're doing when it comes to weight loss. Congrats!
  • It's because you're a Flyer's fan. If you were a Bruin's fan, it wouldn't have happened.
  • My PCP just put me on an iron supplement this week. I was tired all the time. My iron saturation, and Ferritin levels were low. I don't think I get enough Vitamin C either, it helps in the absorption of iron. I'm going to make some changes in my diet.
  • My sister has an Asian Coleslaw recipe that I love. Very easy to make, and tastes great. Allrecipes has a version of it, just google it for ingredients etc.
  • Determination
  • I'm currently at 176 lbs. I lose about a pound a week. I'm just pleased I get on the damn thing. :))
  • I do 30 minutes at 3.5 mph, with slight incline and my treadmill gives me 200 calories. MFP gives me 154 calories. I use the MFP, just in case.
  • "West Shore" here! :)) Feel free to add me.

  • Starting weight 212.5 lbs, current wt. 176 lbs. MFP calorie goal 1450, but I tend to range anywhere from 1450-1800. I lose about a pound a week.
  • You look great! I hope you don't live in the suburbs. :))
  • I feel your pain, truly! :)) Check out this website. http://www.34-menopause-symptoms.com/ I think I have all 34 symptoms!
  • That's fantastic! :drinker: I'm longing for that day, too.
  • Grilling some shrimp tonight. Will put it over Cauliflower "rice", with a side vegetable or salad.
  • I'm 48 yrs old and going through peri-menopause as well. The weight is coming off, but sooooooooo slowly. I eat everything, but in moderation. I vary my calories somewhat(Zig-Zag?). MFP has me at 1480 calories, my BMR is 1501. Somedays I will be at 1480, sometimes 1600 etc. If I'm hungry, I will eat back my exercise…
  • I knew you had to be a nurse, when I saw the three 12 hr. shifts. :)) Forty-eight year old RN with the same issue. It takes me an hour to get home, so it's usually 8:30pm by the time I'm eating dinner. I find if I eat an apple on my way home, I'm not as hungry. Feel free to add me. Lisa
  • Do you think Sidney Crosby quits? No, he keeps trying to get that puck in the net. :)) Just keep trying!
  • I walk on my treadmill while watching the Red Sox at night. Lately, that will put you to sleep! :)) I usually have dinner at 6:30pm, exercise at 9pm, in bed by 10:30pm. It doesn't keep me up. I actually seem to sleep better.
  • I lose about a pound a week. I'm 5'5'', SW 212.5, goal wt. 129 ish. MFP has me at 1450 calories, my BMR 1509. All I've changed are my portions, and I'm trying to incorporate more fresh vegetables and fruits. I've also cut back on sugar, and junk food. I'm usually eating somewhere between 1450-1800 calories. I walk on a…
  • That's awesome, congratulations! :))
  • LOL, too. I have a twin brother. :))
  • I just had chicken tacos for lunch. Feel free to look at my diary. I use old el paso hard shells. Three shells 150 calories. I send my chicken through a food processor, then boil it. Eventually I drain the water, and then I put a tablespoon of ortega 40% less sodium taco mix over it, add a little water, and cook a little…
  • I'm 5'5", my goal is 129 lbs, but I'd be happy with 140 lbs. If I remember correctly, the range for my height is 111-150.
  • I know that pain very well. It does sound like Plantar Fasciitis, but definitely get it checked-out by your doctor. I have to wear orthotics now, but the pain is completely gone. I wear Orthaheel.
  • Have you tried some low fat, or no fat salad dressings? Same with the cream cheese? That stuff adds-up quickly.
