  • I had a tumor my thyroid. I had the tumor and 1/2 my thyroid removed. Despite only having 1/2, that 1/2 was doing it's job and i wasn't on any meds. Years later, by hands started to hurt.....lots of tests.....and turned out to be my thyroid. It took a while to find the right dose. It's my understanding it can take months…
  • Yep...now I just get blood work done when my script runs out. If I don't have any problems.....annual is all i need. Doc called today.....same script......results were all in the normal range.....I feel good.

  • In a slow cooker.....chicken breast, jar of salsa, 1 packet of taco seasoning. Shred chicken......serve on tortilla or on lettuce.

  • I'm 5' 1 1/2". Originally I was shooting for 105. I've been around 110 for a while now. This morning I was 107.9. I fluctuate a lot. Tomorrow I'm sure I'll be 110. If I stay close to 110ish, I'm happy. Clothes fit a LOT better than they did at 120.

  • Check the restaurants website. Many list nutritional values. If it's not a chain......make educated guesses and call it good.
  • I'm 5' 1 1/2". My goal weight is 105. I'd be okay at 110 (where I am now) with a toned belly. Still working on that. Toned every where else. Cardio has been tough with tendonitis in my foot......weight training works great.
  • The challenges.......Since started MFP I have been getting my 8 cups per day, most of the time. But as for the 8 hours of sleep......can't remember the last time I slept 8 hours. My body only sleeps 6. No matter what time I go to bed....6 hours later, I'm up. I envy those that sleep 8.

  • I drink skim, 80 calories per cup. I LOVE milk!
  • When I'm under for my calories......I have a glass of milk and some peanuts. PS. Glad to see someone wanting to eat more calories. Just read a thread with someone suggesting to only eat carrots for a week. Sheesh.

  • No set time. I eat dinner (the time depends on kids' sporting events and school activities). I'll have a glass of milk and a bowl of sherbet right before I go to bed (which is around 10-12pm). Hubby gets heartburn if he eats too close to going to bed.

  • I don't get on the scale that week. I do my best to eat well and continue to exercise. I can't control TOM. I just do my best and don't weigh myself that week. Why get discouraged? Stay on track and the weight will come off...slowly but surely. Good luck to you.

  • Congrat's on the loss so far. Keep going. One weekend of eating "like locusts through a field" (ROFLMAO!!!!)......who cares. Put the scale away....get back on track. Don't beat yourself up about it. It happens. You are human.

  • I do a happy dance when my family of 5 eats the same thing for dinner. It DOES get better, but with picky eaters...it's still a pain. At 11, 13, and 17 they DO try new foods more often (some they like, some they don't). But now they are old enough....if they don't like what we are having dinner, they make their own. Good…
