I go to the gym alone. I don't go to socialize. I take my class or do my workout and leave. I meet friends for lunch, not a workout.

Good shoes make a huge difference in running. I'd suggest warming up, stretching, running, cooling down and stretching again. I have IT band issues. Post workout stretches feel fantastic. Good luck.

OP- I pee a lot too. But no need to change your tampon every time you go. I wear a panty liner with it......so if I need to change it before my normal 3-4 hours, I'll know.

Thanks for your input. Can't stand peppermint since I tried it for morning sickness with my first child. Made it worse and haven't been able to take that smell ever since (19 years).

Congrat's on your loss so far. Don't dwell on the past. What's done is done. You can't change it so put it behind you and leave it there. As for the future...you can make a change and seems like you are on the right track. YOU are in charge of you know. Make good choices. Good luck on the rest of your journey.

20 years ago, I had a bubble butt.....now.....not so much. Seems like all the exercises to get lift....aren't so good for arthritic knees and hips. :frown:

Eating breakfast isn't a MUST to lose weight. Glad it's working for you. I only eat breakfast when I'm hungry. That works for me.

To the OP: I'm not a doctor....you could have a medical issue....you could have an eating disorder. I don't know. But you are taking a step in the right direction...and going to the doctor. You have to start somewhere. That doc may send you to another doc, but at least you are on the road to finding out what the problem…

I did find the orange delete button. It does allow me to delete "my foods". I guess those are the only foods we are able to delete. There are foods (mostly duplicates) that are on my (big) list of foods that was made from the main database. I'd like to delete THOSE from my list. I guess that's not possible.

Here's the reply I got from the Tech Support post: Hi, At this current time, we do not offer tools to clear your lists. This is a very popular request that we are looking into. Thanks for your patience! Joshua MyFitnessPal Staff

You can do this. Drink LOTS of water. Eat before you go to the festival. This way if you indulge in the great food, you won't over indulge. Drink more water. Bring your own food to work....and drink lots of water and eat a slice of pizza at 2am. One will fill you up since you have been drinking water. Enjoy your fun filled…

Yes, I am talking about MY list of foods. I didn't use the right words...sorry. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. The delete button is only there for "most used". Those i want to keep. When I click the tab for "recent" and "my foods" there isn't a delete button. Hmmmmmmm

I haven't given up anything. I eat better. I exercise more. If I want something, I eat it.

I could have posted that. ^^^^^ I hate to cook and I have picky eaters for kids. So that makes it even worse. I use a crockpot quite a bit. www.skinnytaste.com is great for recipes.

No hip replacement here....but I've had ACL reconstruction, countless other knee surgeries, and arthritis.......another vote for cycling.

I wear Asics or Mizuno. Can't wear Nike or NB if my life depended on it. Good luck! A good shoe can make or break a workout.

Picked up my refill for my thyroid meds.......always look to make sure it's correct. Always has been......except now. Thank goodness I looked. I take 75mcg. Pharmacist gave me 50mcg. So when you get your meds......ANY meds......double check. People make mistakes.
