  • Same for me 8 1/2 sometimes a 9 to a 7 1/2 - my running shoes are still an 8 though.
  • I have anxiety issues and am a former smoker so I know how you feel. I have a candy dish that is full of hard candies and I tend to reach too much. For me sometimes it helps to chew gum.   • I would do some walking around at the rest stops even. Even 15 minutes is better than nothing. I don't know of any actual exercises to do in the car though. Snacks were my problem - I made sure to pack healthy choice instead of the usual chips or other junk food. Enjoy your trip!
  • Congrats! Been trying to talk myself into running one - starts next weekend. I have ran one in "training" and the fastest I have been able to do is 1.11 - so not sure I should enter yet lol
  • Love that DVD - one of my favs! I agree that there not an accurate counter for that thing lol I just do the lesser and figure it I do have a little wiggle room. It all comes out in the wash I figure mostly :)

  • Just have to take it into account and know it's going to happen every month. Sucks but it doesn't effect the long term :)
  • My favorite is Yoga Meltdown by Jillian Michaels!!! I don't have that netflix but my cable has fit-tv! I record those and then do them in the am so I can fast forward through the commercials lol
  • Awesome - I wish I would have rented a few of mine before I bought them lol I do have one of her DVDs though - it's the 5 mile one. I don't use it much anymore but I did find it pretty good!

  • I agree with going to get fitted. That's the best way to know you have the right shoes. I was running in the wrong ones for a time and ended up hurt. Definitely invest in a good pair if you are serious about wanting to be a runner/jogger.
  • Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown - LOVE it!! I also have Biggest Loser - Last Chance work out and Weight loss yoga. Both are good but don't use them as much. I have one of the walk dvd's too - they arent too bad if you don't have another option.
  • That is pretty much how I started walking as well. Started taking my dog around the block and just kept working up. Now I run 4 miles 4 days a week and 6 miles on Saturday and Sunday. Feels so good to just get your body moving and active!!
  • I can't get myself up early enough to go running but I do get up an hour early so I can do some weight training first thing. I wanted to try and run in the morning and weight train at night but havent been able to switch it up!
  • I don't eat back what I burn for the most part but feel it gives me a cushion. I also don't always record all of my calories burned during the day.
  • For me - I don't ever want to go back to where I was at before!! I like the way I look now and feel and I enjoy the challenge of running and what I can accomplish! That and it allows me to eat my ice cream I enjoy :)

  • I have read about it and there is a girl where I run that does it. She seems to do great - IDK if it would work for me. I have pretty sensative feet.

  • Sometimes it's ok just to take the day off too and let your body recover. YOu have to know what is best and right for you and your fitness level
  • I am gonna jump in and hope my transmitter lasts!! I have went through 5 of them already in less than a year. Anyone else have trouble like that?
  • I tried this about 6 months ago and man it about killed me lol I haven't tried it again since reaching my goal weight. I love Jillian's Yoga Meltdown though!!
