Can completely relate - I am on the injury list from having surgery that hasnt healed and cause me to fracture my foot. So I am trying to come up with options to use my boot and stay active. Just miss running :( It's heartbreaking.

Most shorts and pants come with built in liners - no need for undies :)

Personally I do not include it in my work outs. I feel like that is just part of life rather than an actual exercise- JMHO

I have the 405 I believe and had use the nike in the past. The nike is a lot easier to use but the garmin has more features. I think they are both good on accuracy though.

I would look for a running group in your area. I couldnt imagine not being able to run outside! Maybe look for areas that there are more people and you may have to do loops in that area to get more miles but its still outside!

I have also heard good things about the Brooks Pure Project. They are incredibly light weight. I would also agree that you should go try them on and see how they feel on your feet.

I have done the work out but not every day for 6 weeks. I have only done level 1 too - it's a pretty good work out though. i would recommend it for core strength!

I wouldnt rule out a running shoe because you are not running. They have a lot of great options for running shoes that are light weight and often comfort , cushioning and stability. All of the things you need for other types or workouts. I don't think personally I would use one of the toning shoes for a workout activity…

I do - I always do strength training or yoga or kick boxing something like that in the am. then I run at night.

Since I can walk more and am considering doing a 5k next weekend I should be able to do this week :)
-
The jumping jacks were an issue for me as well. I like the ripped in 30 better.
-
Yikes! I am glad I never tried this lol

Like others said - last to go first to come back :)

Thats what I had been reading too about the jawbone up - I do like the looks of it the best. Well the nike is cool but it's way pricey!
-
Someone else just asked the same thing :) There is a thread. i have been considering one or mabye the jawbone up and then there is the new nike fuelband

I take an NSAI every day because of my arthritis in my back. They do say you should take tylenol before working out and ibuprofen after.
-
They have a newer version out now - it's the fitbit ultra and I believe I read it is not water proof. I was trying to find it at the site here - Is the Fitbit Tracker waterproof? The Fitbit Tracker is water resistant and should hold up through normal use throughout the day. However, it is not waterproof and should not be…

I have mine in a box - I wish I would have written on them though. At first I knew exactly which one was what but the more I do the more I forget! I like the binder thing! That's pretty cool!

Still recovering from foot surgery. Hopefully soon :)

I sometimes wear CEP compression socks when I run but usually use them more for recovery than actually running in them.

Hi - I am Becky. I am 43 yrs old from Des Moines, IA. I only began running about a few years ago and have fell in love :) I am not a fast running by any means but I get the job done. I have completed 1 half, 1 full, 1 20k and several 5k 10k and others. I have been sidelined since my last race on Thanksgiving. Initially…

I would think its because of the 1200 calorie limit. of course if you figure in your exercise you could lose more a week.
-
Great ideas - one of my biggest downfalls still!!
-
I got down to about 125 at my lowest. I would have liked to have been down to 120 but my body extra skin that wont go away makes it difficult for me. So I am back up to about 142 and my new goal weight is 130 - 135. Probably a little heavier than what others would like or think but I am ok with it :) Isnt that what its all…

I have the Nike App - umm not the Nike + I cant remember the actual name of it. I also have Yoga Stretch and Yoga Relax - not the greatest but they are ok. Jillian has one too but I never can get it to load.

I agree it's because they see you. Also sometimes maybe they notice but are afraid of saying the wrong thing. Like stating have you lost weight insinuates that they thought maybe you had weight to lose in the first place. So it could be that as well. Dont worry about that - just keep doing what you are doing!!
