  • Good for you! You must celebrate every success and have goals, no matter how small you think they are!

  • Hi, welcome! We dont have loads of money either so I am trying to add exercise for free. I walk the dog, try and bike ride and I'm starting to walk for those small journeys where I used to get the car out. It means being more organised getting teh 3 children ready (physically and mentally) for a walk and leaving earlier…
  • Surely all that is taken into account when you do your profile on here and say what kind of a lifestyle you have ie sedentary, etc. I don't think you can add it to your daily exercise on MFP!!!

  • OK, Hubby's day off and he's just gone out to take the dog for a walk and I immediately thought "what can I eat?" so decided to come and write it down here to focus myself. Am going to pour a large glass of sparkling water and wait.... I don't need to eat now, I had a good breakfast only an hour ago.....
  • wow, another lightbulb moment when I find I'm not the only person like this. It's been like this for over 20 years. Some times I get it under control for a few months when I'm really motivated but most of the time I'm eating stuff, lying to the kids about eating it and then having to buy more to replace it the next day…
