Ugh. One of my biggest pet peeves is women referring to their husbands as "like raising another child". If you want him to be an adult let him act like one. He's not being child like, your being controlling. If he wants to drink pop and 2% milk let him.

Since it's a 10K you should be fine. Now if it were a half or a full I'd say no. :)

I started running last April just because my friends were and I was doing zero exercise. Since then I've ran 2 5ks, 3 half marathons and a full marathon. I have another half next Sunday. While I enjoyed running I didn't consider myself to have the running bug until this year. Before I could go several days without running…

That can't be accurate. In order for me to lose weight by that method I'd have to have only 980 calories.

I like seeing it because it's motivation, but I know it's completely wrong. It's also a great kick in the butt when I have bad days and it says if I eat like this everyday I will weigh (more than I do now!)

I love running. I'm at 250 miles since the end of February :) My goal is 1000 by the end of the year.

I have 3 kids. Sleeping in on the weekends is sleeping till 7am and that's only cause they are getting older (my youngest is 3).

I put in 100% and by the end I'm dying. It's just later that day I feel like I should do something else. :) Doing back to back is crazy!!!
-
I'm also impatient and want results like...now :) That's probably been the hardest part of exercising for me.

slimmomma4- You sound like me. :) I'm not super fit and I sweat like crazy and push hard during the workouts, but with month 1 the workouts are like under 45 minutes and it didn't seem like enough. So I added a couple workouts here and there (p90x or another insanity video) and i'm also a runner so I run almost everyday…

I started week 6 today. I can see a huge difference in how I look and also my running has improved leaps and bounds! An easy run pace for me now is about a minute faster then my I'm about to die pace before :) I've also lost 8.5 pounds (just since I started, I lost a total of 18 pounds since Jan 14th) and like 10 inches…

I was up and out of bed at 5:30am for my long run today. Went 9 miles. Later today I'll get my Insanity workout done.
-
I run almost every day (I'm at 109 miles since 2-21) I also do insanity everyday. On the days I can't run I do either P90x or an extra Insanity workout. I'm not super athletic either. So I'd say its definitely doable! And yes, I push through every workout but I do take unscheulded breaks if needed. Since starting Insanity…

Chocolate chip cookies (as long as they aren't out of a box or bag). Luckily for me I love those 3 ingredient cookies that are made with a banana, oatmeal and a couple chocolate chips. I can eat the whole pan. But I don't care because its just a banana and a 3/4 cup of oats (and I put one dark chocolate morsel on each…

I don't usually eat back my exercise calories anyhow.

I love it! It's challenging but fun. I'm in week 3 and I've lost 5 pounds (my 3rd weigh in is tonight) and I've lost several inches. Not only that but my cardio is awesome. I run too and I've dropped about a minute off my mile pace since starting. Which is awesome!!

It depends on how long you'll be gone. If only for a week or so I wouldn't restart at week 1. Start where you left off. Or even just a couple days back. at Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs. Enjoy your vacation.

I use runkeeper.

I have a ton of visalus powder. I like it, but I had only lost 9 pounds in about 3 months on it. It's expensive and I gained all the weight back. It's not a lifestyle that is maintainable (imo). That and drinking a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch maked me crave food. Occasionally I'll have it for breakfast but…

6" Turkey on flat bread. American cheese, green peppers & onions (on before it's toasted) then lots of spinach, lettuce, tomato, black olives. No dressing. 330 calories :) My *not trying to lose weight* sub is a 6" buffalo chicken on flat bread with american cheese, green peppers, spinach, lettuce, black olives and ranch…

I'm at 42.79 so far this month. Been taking it easy so not as high as my usual though.

Absolutely Amazing!! Your such an inspiration. Congratulations on all your accomplishments. Good luck with your half marathon!! Your going to rock :)

She had it right . "The difference between invaluable and valuable can be subtle, but think of it this way: valuable usually applies to things that have monetary value, while invaluable usually applies to things that can’t be valued in monetary terms. For example, a hoard of gold is valuable, while a good friend is…

I have well water too. Do you have a water softener? Also, I know here you can but jugs of water and just take the jugs in and get them filled. It'll reduce the amount of plastic jugs you buy. I loved diet coke. Wasn't a huge drinker because I never bought 12 or 24 packs (didn't want them in the house for the kids to get…

I have a love/hate relationship with plyometric cardio circut. I hate doing it, but I love how I feel when I'm done. I always look forward to Pure Cardio (which is tomorrow!) I like them all actually :) I'm hoping I love them all next month too.
-
yep I agree. No bad results. You can only improve :)

Today I ran a total of 15 miles (5, 4 then 6) and did my Insanity Fit test for 14 days in. I'm sore and tired. But gotta be up at 4:45am to run 4 miles :)

I run as well. (I'm following the Novice 2 of Hal Higdon's Half Marathon training for my race in April) It's hard to do long runs and Insanity. But I only have a long run on the weekend and I run in the morning and do insanity during the day (gives my legs a little break) I'm on day 13 and I've finished every single…
