Happy Saturday morning  I haven't been able to log in from the computer in a couple of days, I so wish the phone app had the option to read the message boards. Today is morning Zumba and probably a lazy afternoon and evening. Today is my instructors last Saturday class so I will have to venture out and find…

Wednesday Wish: I wish buying a used car for a 17 year old boy wasn't so stressful and expensive.

Really? Not that I'll buy it but what section is it in? Near the pharmacy or in grocery?

I suggest you keep the higher calories and ride it out a few more weeks. Patience is key when you've made changes to your plan.

Good morning everyone! My goal for August was to not weigh myself. I'm succeeding because I took my scale to my daughters, so this has not been much of a struggle...gotta do what ya gotta do, right? lol The September 1 scale goal is to be anything under my previous July 5th weight of 199.8. I saw Onederland for a day and…

Monday check-in- Had a pretty good weekend (including today as I work 4 - 10's) and stayed at or just above my calories, this is kinda a big deal for me. I tend to undo a lot of my hard work on weekends. So I call this weekend a success. I have tomorrow off from work also and plan on cleaning a lot and doing anything to…

Dec 27, 2011 was my start date. I lost 80 the first year, it's really slowed down but I haven't been as strict on myself this year.

Eat more and stop expecting "The Biggest Loser" results from killing yourself at the gym without fueling your body properly.

@Robin..are you a couponer by chance? I was a couponer before couponing was cool! But I'm finding it hard to be motivated about it anymore! Great job on what you've accomplished thus far and you have a great attitude and very strong support system that you created yourself, I think that's pretty neat!

Good afternoon :) I'm making a big bowl of Mexican quinoa salad type thing, that will last me a couple of days. Had a huge breakfast so just laying low for the rest of the day. Definitely not been hungry yet. Sunday Share: A little about me - I've been married 20 years and have an 18 year old girl and nearly 17 year old…

Hey everyone! I am just popping on to share my Saturday Success. I did the shopping this morning and I picked up at least 2 yummy non-plan things and put them back on the shelf. I'm learning that to be nice to myself doesn't mean that I have to treat myself to food. I have coupons for free frappe or smoothie at McDonald's.…

If you insist she eat 1300 calories when she's been doing fine on 1800 calories, she's going to turn very b!tchy...if not from you messing it up, then from not eating enough. Too big a deficit will affect everything, especially her mood.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the thread, been reading off and on from afar. How do you all keep up with each other? haha! Anyway, I'm Carla aka Pie, I'm well on my way to goal but things have slowed down considerably for me this year. I think having the support of the amazing people in this thread will be a nice addition to my…

Way to go Jill, this is a great comparison pic! People, if you need a motivational friend who is consistent, Jill is your girl! She lives life and enjoys a good beer once in a while but she keeps it real, she has ups and downs but is always back on board the next morning killing it again. Glad to have you as a friend Jill!…

I started with Weight Watchers to lose the first 80 pounds in 11 months. Then for financial reasons I quit WW and continued the good habits I had learned and transitioned to MFP. Since I've been solely on MFP, I lost another 27 pounds in 8 months. In a nutshell, what was different for me this time is I became friends with…

This is my kind of challenge! Thanks for creating it! I do classes 60 minutes 3 x a week but would really like to be encouraged to add 30 mins a day at home as well!

You. Are. Beautiful! Great job, I am also 5'5" and heading toward a healthy BMI...I think I'll probably be really happy where you are. This poor body has been defying gravity for 44 years, so I'm sure my 148 will look a little different than your 148 LOL You have accomplished great things, never go back! Congratulations!!

3 to 4,000 calories... I'd suggest you log them and find out for sure...then let it go. No need to hang on to the guilt. You'll be back in business tomorrow morning!

It appears that most potassium rich foods won't come with a label. Think fresh. http://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/food-sources-of-potassium.php I am always high in sodium and short on potassium as well.
