  • Agree with Krissy. I used the machines value until I got the heart rate monitor. I found that my machine value was a little lower than the HRM, but much closer then the values given in MFP.
  • I would keep your calories the same AND track the weight lifting. While you don't burn as much immediately during weight lifting as cardio, you are setting up your body to burn calories long after the workout. I wouldn't take away calories either.
