So i've been told a few things on here regarding to tracking lifting workouts. I tracked everything that i do as far as running/walking through my linked fitbit account. People have told me that once i figure out my caloric needs and plug it in to MFP, that i shouldn't track my lifting exercises. Should i lower my calories and track my workouts or keep them the same and not track my workouts?

I would keep your calories the same AND track the weight lifting. While you don't burn as much immediately during weight lifting as cardio, you are setting up your body to burn calories long after the workout. I wouldn't take away calories either. I wear a heart rate watch while I do cardio and strength training and the weights are a significant workout! You don't want to cut back fuel for your body, or you will burn muscle and not as much fat while losing. So often people don't eat enough to fuel the muscle growth (which in turn helps burn away the fat!)0
