Yeah, I've over done it. Make my stomach hurt and I get heartburn. I never get heartburn. I've heard someone describe it as "digestive gymnastics".

I'm sure you found the answer by now....5 days normal eating, 2 days 500 calories for females 600 for males. There's a great BBC documentary on this. It's on YouTube , the full program.

Yeah, 5:2 is a tad overwhelming so I do only one daya week. My rest day consists of 600 cal. My energy level is surprisingly insane on that day.
