I try to HIT my goal, or get as darn close as I can. So if I am a couple calories over, I don't care. I wouldn't go under my goal if I could help it. It's important to nourish your body. :)

Madison right here! :) I'll send you a request.

It's okay to be eating healthy, nutrient-dense food, all day long. ;) If you're within your calorie goal, go for it. Don't listen to society's rules that tell you what and how much and how often to eat. You have goals that are specifically geared toward YOUR body and YOUR goals. If you need to eat 10 times a day to get to…

You should try to eat as many calories as you can while still losing...even if it means you lose a little more slowly. That way, your metabolism will stay healthy and you can pack in as much nutrient dense food as you can. :) Hit that goal!

@corsetopia Edgy and cool. ;)

I'm a preschool Spanish teacher. A cute job...but definitely a resume builder. I live in Madison, WI...unfortunately. We moved here from Chicago. HUGE letdown. I'm 26. My husband and I share a Corolla, which kindof answers the next question...we're boring. We drive a lame car in a lame town and even if there were things to…

That was awesome! I laughed so hard!!

I agree with the previous poster....eat CLEAN as much as possible. That means foods that are not processed and are real. :) Also try to keep your protein nice and high. Everything else will follow after that. And that 1400 ish calories is your BARE bones minimum! I would suggest even eating more than that. You may gain in…

Honestly girl...it sounds to me like you're not eating nearly enough. There's a reason why you're feeling sluggish and tired. Go to scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-counter/ and plug in your numbers. I already did it according to the stats you gave us...and your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate...what your body burns when you're not…

I'm surprised that no one had mentioned cultural proxemics yet! In the western world we all like to have our "bubble." If someone's too close or comes to sit (or workout) by us when there are other spots available, they're deemed as "creepy" or having an ulterior motive. But that's not the case in many other places around…

I don't personally do Crossfit because I can't afford it, but i have a friend who interns at one of their gyms...and I researched it a bit. I'll try to answer your questions. 1.) Insanity uses all bodyweight training, if I understand it correctly. in Crossfit, you'll definitely be lifting some heavy weights along with…

If this isn't proof that working out increases sex drive, I don't know what is. :)

Just to make sure I'm getting this right...you're eating an average of 1380 calories a day and only eat back exercise calories sometimes? Because if that's true, I think we found the problem. :(
-
I think that a well-groomed beard is HOTTT. I won't let my husband shave his off. ;)
-
This. Don't necessarily go by what MFP tells you...figure out what it is for yourself by looking at a couple different calculators. I like fitnessfrog.com too. :)
-
I wouldn't worry about trying to atone for your past errors...lol. :) Just get back on track today! But that's just what I would do.

Please go to fitnessfrog.com and plug your numbers in the TDEE calculator. That will tell you how many calories your body uses a day. Then cut 15% or 20% off that number. Whatever that number is...eat that EVERY DAY. And don't worry about exercise calories. The only reason you would ever need to "eat back" exercise…

I seriously just laughed out loud! That's hilarious!!! For me, it's marshmallows. I can (and greatly desire to) eat the whole freakin' bag.

Hey everyone! I'm Hailey and I'm 26 years old. I've always been a little "different," if you will. I didn't think like many of my girlfriends growing up, and I still didn't even in my high school and college years. While my friends were dreaming and planning their entire lives around marriage and children, I was busy…

If you lift that day, you don't necessarily have to worry about a burn like that. Just eat your cut. But if you do a big cardio day, then just eat those extra caloires back until you reach your BMR! You don't have to feel bad about eating that food back...your body needs it! :)

I started at exactly 200 lbs...and I'm now at 189...aiming for 170 and then I'll reassess! :) My build is very curvy with pretty thick muscles. Like a wrestler...real dainty, huh? Lol. I don't really care anymore...I've finally begun to embrace myself as the strong woman I am...and I'm aiming to become stronger. So what if…

I'm a 34 DDD (E), and I've tried them all...Moving Comfort, Champion, Under Armor...none last long enough. I finally went for a fitting a professional place, and they also had sports bras. So I recommend PANACHE. Please do yourself a favor and get one. Your back won't hurt, your boos won't look stupid under your shirts,…

^^^ This. Also, I think someone said sweet potatoes. Those are my saving grace. I love 'em.
-
Yep that's what you do! :) The only time you'd eat more is if you had a "high burn day." Just eat enough to net your BMR on those days. MIght seem like a lot of food but you'll feel a lot better the next day!
-
Make sure you're eating enough...and letting yourself have some of the foods that you crave! Don't deprive yourself. Make sure you're eating above your BMR so that you're not hungry and prone to binge. Also...if you get the munchies, it helps me to choose ONE munchie and have a serving. And then have a cup of something…

There is a group here called Eat More Weigh Less...they've been very helpful to me as I'm learning how to eat in order to fuel my body. I would suggest looking there to get started!!! Those women look amazing.

The blotchiness, swelling, and redness is primarily around my mouth and cheeks. Nothing around the eyes...yet. Yikes.
