I will join you... I started day 1 level 1 yesterday. I did it again today although my legs are so sore I can barely walk down steps!! LOL!! I am going to stick to it, I'm getting up early for this and I will do the whole 30 days by the time I go on vacation Dec. 1.

I have a cheat day once a week too. My best friend and I have renamed Saturday to "Fatterday." It is the day we don't count calories. I am now 2 pounds away from my goal.

@ddboone...that's great! I did c25k a few months ago, what a wonderful program. Good luck in your 5k in April- are you already registered for it? That's a good way to keep going even when the runs start getting tougher. :smile:

My downfall is 3:00 when I'm at work and want chocolate. never fails. I try to only have it on the days that I know I'm going to the gym later so I can fit it into my food diary and won't have to feel guilty about it.

I do the same thing and I am 2 lbs away from my goal so it is definitely working. I think the key is not to forbid anything that you like because then when you eat it you'll feel guilty and more likely to sabotage the hard work you've already done. I have an off day every weekend. My best friend and I call it Fatterday instead of Saturday. I don't count calories on Saturdays...I have still lost 19 pounds since July.

I started C25K on June 1, and I didn't really lose any weight until around mid-July, which is when I also changed my eating habits. Since then I have lost 15.5 lbs. Good luck! Running is great exercise.
