Did you not read the original post in the first thread, where the lovely author of the aformentioned post decided to mock everyone by telling us it doesn't exist? It's nice to know it's all in our heads. What would any of us do without you all telling us information about our bodies?

I hve not encountered a more contentious group of people than the pro-gluten coalition. You people are confrontational and hostile about something that DOES NOT AFFECT YOU. Why the hell would you care if someone doesn't eat gluten? Seriously, how does that have any affect on your life? It's no different than someone not…

Does anyone still have their noobs? I adopted 3 and they never came back online. Oh well.

I've been a vegetarian since birth and a vegan for the last 3 years. :)

Different things can affect your heart rate. Caffeine consumption, medications, stuff like that. I take a medication that raises my heart rate a bit, and it's unavoidable. See if you're taking or doing anything which could add a bit of stress to your heart. If not, you can try to work on your pace until your heart gets…

Your maximum HR at 27 is 193,so at 160 you're not too high. You should try to keep it under 164 so that you're in an aerobic (vs anaerobic) state. It's better for your body. C25K might help you with your heartrate, have you tried that before?

No referrals needed. I scheduled an appointment with a gastroenterologist for this week.

Again, I eat incredibly SLOWLY. I take FOREVER to finish a meal. Please read the entire thread before making assumptions and assuming you've solved the problem.
-
If I did I wouldn't have created the thread. There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying to see if others have experienced this from eating rice.
-
Most. Helpful. Comment. Ever. Now I know what I've been doing wrong. I've been eating the rice straight out of the bag. Who would have ever thought that rice.....should be cooked?! Utter Insanity. :noway:

Thank you. I really wish people would read the entire thread (or at least the original post) instead of zeroing in on one word and then going off on a tangent about something that has nothing to do with the subject.

I was responding to the person who was suggesting that carbs could be the issue, or at least it is for them. If you clicked this thread hoping to discuss carbs, that's not why I posted this. I appreciate all suggestions, but I really don't need someone to sit there and debate the pros and cons of low carb. There are other…

That's really not what the topic of this thread is about. It's about pain, not Pro/Anti Low-carb.

I've read that people on a low carb diet consume almond butter. I didn't mention fruit.... People who don't eat vegetables are missing out on a lot of nutrients. But okay, then I guess I'd be eating nothing if I couldn't have vegetables and almond butter. Awesome
-
I am keeping an eye on it and so far it really seems to be rice that triggers it. As a soy-free Vegan, If I eliminated carbs, I'd be living on vegetables, almond butter... and that's about it because I think beans are considered carbohydrates. I don't really eat bread or any of that. My main carbs are rice (brown or…

As a vegan, rice is kind of a staple in my diet so it's hard to avoid it. I don't eat anything fast. I'm the slowest eater of everyone I know.

I was leashed. I remember it looked like a giant plastic springy coil key ring that was attached to 2 wrist bands. Then one of the bands was attached to me. There was also a waist attachment, which they also put on me sometimes. It was humiliating.

I eat lots of avocados. My cholesterol is usually between 120 and 140 and my HDL (good cholesterol) is 60-something.

Hey... I'm 28. :ohwell:
