Thanks for posting this, Shellie! I just got back in the groove of logging around a month or so ago, and really haven't been seeing much of a loss. So, after reading about the TDEE-15%, I updated my goals and am going to try it. It can't hurt, seeing as how I'm not really losing anyway! Congratulations on your NSV!!

I thought I was the only one. People seriously think I am nuts. My uncle put a Christmas bow (with the adhesive) on me once... I freaked and scared him a bit. Also, I have a serious issue with ink. If it gets on my skin I have a fit.

I think it's ridiculous that a doctor is pushing such a major surgery on you when you are already making choices that will lead to weight loss. Just my opinion, but surgery should be a last resort. But I think you can do this all on your own. You got this. ;)

Do they have the black beans in them? I might try one if they don't.

My weight had pretty much crippled me. I earned my bachelor's degree last year and was not able to participate in graduation because I knew I'd never make it to walk across campus, across the stage, etc. It pissed me off! I am a single mom, worked full time, and went to school full time for nearly 5 years to earn the right…

Okay, I never would have thought to mix in feta with the meat mixture...that sounds fantastic. And my kids love feta, so even they would eat this! Thanks for the idea!

Definitely going to give these a try!

There is definitely a difference! Especially in your face/chin, neck area, and tummy. Don't get discouraged, because you've done a great job!! Hang in there! :)

I just completed my Special Education teaching degree but while I wait for a position to open up, I work as office support for the local Board of Education, tutor a couple of students, and provide one-on-one services in the mental health field.

I've only been at this a week, but all the encouragment and support is really making a difference! Feel free to add me to your friends (and that goes for anyone).
