Also my biggest issue. Frozen meals and veggies get me. My lifestyle makes it tough to have prepared meals.

The two are not mutually exclusive. I have done ww in the past with success. Both are about logging consistently and eating healthy. I used to think I needed to weigh in to be held accountable but as I've grown older I've realized I can do it without it. On MFP I've been just as successful. You can do it.

When my mom passed away I was in the hospital room with my father. He said to her "You did a good job, you raised good kids". I thought that was about the best thing someone could say to you at the end of your life. As a father myself, I think about that statement just about every day and try to do my part to live up to it.

I bought a HRM and have learned the perfect heart rate for me to run at. Once I get over that Heart Rate I start breathing heavier and start to struggle. I just slow down the pace a bit and I get back in the groove.

This. When I first got back to running only about 6 months ago it is exactly how I went about it. Now I can comfortably run 10K's. Not to quickly mind you but I can still run them.

What do the exercises consist of? My wife and I are near Independance Grove so the two in August might work.

Great job! First run and you blew me out of the water. I'm a 10 minute miler and usually end up just over 30 minutes.

I had the same issue with Diet Coke. I've boosted my water intake. I put MIO in my water so that helps. I still have one now and then but not nearly the 3 or 4 a day I used to.

Bend your knees and stay back on your heals. This used to happen to me but I was given that advice. The tendency is to lean forward too much. Not a problem once I corrected the posture.

I've been married for a loooong time so this is all from memory. I was one of those guys that was totally clueless. If you ignored me I would not chase. Even if you didn't ignore me I wouldn't chase. I pretty much needed to be hit over the head with your intentions. So as others have said, it depends on the guy.
