Good luck with the diet Stephanie! It really does get easier with all the restrictions. Like you I was stuck at the same weight for months even with exercise n watching what I eat. The 17 DD has helped me lose 12 lbs in one month. It really does work when you're stuck at a plateau. I wish you success as well :)

It is important to rinse it in water a few times cause it has a bitter outer coating. It will taste unpleasant if you don't wash it.

I agree with what you say. I too thought I was eating clean but with no structure and I was not losing any weight. After doing the 17 day diet I seem to have some discipline, I'm not hungry all the time and I'm losing weight and finally feeling good about myself.

I drink around 4-5 litres a day. I used to be really bad about drinking water but a few years ago I trained my body to need that much water. I carry a bottle with me everywhere I go. If I don't have enough water I get a head ache. Lots of bathroom breaks though.

Hi! I think this is a great plan. If you break it down its only around 3.5lbs a month till the end of the year. We can do it!

I did 30 DS last month and although I lot a fair amount of inches and was more toned I didn't lose any weight. My diet included a fair amount carbs and sweets once in a while. Diet coke. Its bad cause its 0 calories but it makes me hungry really fast after drinking it. But I'm addicted.

I tried to follow the harder version for the most part. But for push ups I would do the easier/modified version. And sometimes I would stop in the middle esp during level 3. That level is tough.

Even I found it much easier by L1D5. But I didnt move onto the next level till I had completed my 10 days. It was the same with L1&2 but I'm on D7L3 and it is still very hard. I'm trying to do the advanced version though.

I started L3 today and you're right. It is HARD! By the end of L2 which I did for 10 days I wasn't as tired or sweating as much by the end of it. But after a 3 day break due to the stomach flu I started L3 today and I had to take breaks. I hope it gets easier soon.

The same thing happened to me with 30DS. After the first week I weighed 2lbs more. Now I'm going to do L3D1 tomorrow and the 2lbs have come off. I also gained 2lbs the first week. I've done levels 1 &2 and am starting L3 tomorrow. The two lbs have gone (so net wt. loss=0). Have lost 5inches total. I don't understand it either how I'm losing inches but no weight. I will happily take the inches though:smile:
