10 lbs is great!! Dont be discouraged. The first month I didnt lose ANY weight. I wasn't eating right so that was my own fault. If you think of it as a lifestyle change and take each day as it comes before you know it you will reach your goal.

Congratulations! You look amazing!

Just thought I'd share this. Before I started the 17 Day diet it was really hard for me to lose weight. So far I have lost 31 lbs on this diet in around 4.5 months. But the best thing is that my thyroid was bordering on the high side for two years. In the last 4 months it is right in the middle of the range. All my medical…

Yes it is possible! I did pretty much what you plan on doing. I cut down on carbs and sweets and worked out 4-5 times a week. I managed to lose 14kgs in around 19 weeks. So yes you can do it as well. Good luck :)

Great Job! You're so pretty!

That is amazing! I hope to get there too :)

Reached my 30 lb goal today. Still have 4 more lbs to reach my final goal. When I joined this group I never thought that I would get here but I'm glad I did :)

Congratulations! You look great! Also, thanks for the amazing pointers on what helped you succeed.

I agree. You look much smaller in the more recent picture. Great job!

So, I have really fat arms as well. Its just hereditary I think. I tried doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day shred but it didn't work as my overall weight didn't change with 30DS. Then I tried going to the gym and doing 50 mins of cardio, 5 times a week. It has been 3 months and I have lost 2.5 inches on each arm. So losing…

I feel so much better after reading this thread. I thought I was the only one not losing any more weight. The first 20lbs happened in 2.5 months but now the last 14lbs are taking forever. The upside is that eating healthy and exercising is a way of life with me now. Patiently waiting for the last 14 lbs to go away.

I have been doing the 17 day diet for 2.5 months now and have lost 20lbs. It is very hard for me to lose weight. With simple dieting and exercising and logging my calories on MFP from Dec to march I didn't lose any weight. The 17 Day diet has been more of a lifestyle change for me. I did one round of C1, C2 & C3 and then…

Congratulations! You are working hard and its paying off.

Hey, don't lose hope. When I first joined the gym I actually put on weight. People told me it was cause my muscles were retaining water. But after a couple of weeks the pounds did come off. Just have a little patience and if you continue working towards losing weight I'm sure you will. Besides you're lucky you did'nt put…

I'm in. Starting today (Saturday) to next Saturday. 1 kg to lose.

I don't have one anymore. I try to eat within my daily calorie allowance. When I first joined MFP I used to have a cheat weekend and wasn't losing any weight. So I have realized that my body needs me to be good everyday.
-
I tried the 17 day diet and it helped me lose 16lbs that I was not able to lose just with MFP. That is pretty much low carb. See if you would like to do that.
-
I'm on everyday and could also use some more friends to motivate :)
-
You look awesome! Congrats on the weight loss.
-
Yay! Well done!! I cant wait to break into the 30's either :)
-
You're amazing to have lost so much weight so fast. Keep it up and don't let idiots let you down. You seem like a really strong person and you will reach your goal soon.

I'm down 6.6lbs since 18th March. I still have a long way to go!
