Thanks for providing the link! I have herniated C4-7 disks in my neck and was always worried that the bar being so close to that area would exacerbate the problem. As a result, I started doing front squats. I'll try lowering the bar to see how that feels.

Why would YOU break a rule? Two wrongs don't make a right. Complain to management and corporate. The trainer should be reprimanded or fired. If it happens again record it and take THAT to corporate. The last thing the want is a potential legal issue if someone were to get hit with something flying throught the air.

Measuring/weighing your food is also helpful. Perhaps invest in new HRM (or whatever part is lost) to give you an idea of what your expending when you do exercise. I know you want to hurry up and see a difference, but too much cardio, as compared to what you're eating, can have an adverse effect...especially if you are not…

My FT7 has been going to 0 as well, along with a message that says "Check Heartrate Transmitter". After I cleaned it and tightened it, it happened once more, but after that it seemed to be ok.

I wouldn't mind trying it again, but I'm down for whatever. I'll await instructions, ma'am. *salutes* (I probably never told you I was a soldier)

Hey friend! Also be sure you're eating enough to support your exercise. Take a look at your calorie settings and adjust them if necessary. You know I have a lot to lose too, but I noticed I do better when I eat more. Not in excess...just 20% less than my TDEE. It takes some patience, but you'll see better results when you…

I do the same thing. Natural PB in oatmeal is delicious. Yummmm

I did...and then I stopped caring what I THOUGHT people were going to think. Everyone is there for the same reason. I had to get out of my head and just get in there. Now, I can't imagine NOT going at least a few times a week.

Yay, friend!!!!! Welcome to the club!! I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Oh yeah, if you're ever unsure of how to do certain lifts, YouTube is a really good tool. The oxalates can crystalize in your bodily fluids causing kidney stones and gallbladder issues. Only thing is, how much is too much?
-
Too much can cause a build-up of uric acid in your system (if you're prone to gout, this can cause a flare-up), and also interfere with thyroid function. However, the addition of healthy fats (coconut oil, etc.) helps.
