Meg0013, you are my hero! Losing 85 lbs is fantastic and it looks like you worked very hard at it. I have around 100 total to lose and would love to get to a workout schedule like yours. The running, not so much. I already wrecked my joints from obesity, so I am not sure I will be able to run. But the rest...oh…

I raise my glass of water to him! He is right on target. Get your buzz from exercise endorphins and a good laugh watching your friends get drunk. Be the DD!

As a new diabetic, I found that DC and vodka have the least nasty simple carbs...I actually drink maybe 3 times per year, so this may not count as good advise :drinker:

A half full can of Diet Dr. Pepper...pour it on them and watch them sizzle...full of awesome chemicals! I am your new leader!

Welcome to the club! You will find so many tools, so many friends here to help you lose weight. The key is adding YOU to the mix. It's all you, kiddo. What you do and what you don't do. How you treat yourself the first time you fall off the wagon of eating and exercising. And you will. At least you will perceive it that…

Giants, because we don't want the Patriots to play the Pack! (As long as we beat Baltimore, that is) Go Pats!!! :glasses:

Jan 9-15: Mon-Fri did 30 mins per day of cardio. Sat did 25 cardio and 15 of weight training. Total: 190 mins. I need to step it up! I work out in the morning at 6am and am tired after work. I just need to push myself to work out after work, too. Regardless, I am proud of myself!

This eating back exercise calories confuses me. I don't usually eat them since I thought I would lose more weight. If I eat back the calories earned from exercise, doesn't that cancel out the good from the exercise?

Maybe if you have a couple of meat-free days rather than skipping meals and exercise differently you will jump start your weight loss again. For some people, skipping meals halts their metabolism. It is harder to bring it back up to fat burning speed again. There are exercises you can do and still let your knees rest. Work…

I have not read all of the posts so if someone suggested this, then good! Smart Ones makes meals in a bag that are 30% larger than their ones in the trays. They are 300 calories and fill my 20 yr old son up. Try adding raw carrots or celery and an apple to fill you up. Best wishes on your health journey!

BURPEES!! I am so terrible at them! But someday...watch me Jillian Michaels!

My goal is to eventually weigh 145 lbs or be a size large again! This 2XL size is horrible! I would love to loose a pound per week. I plan to track my food every day. I plan to exercise 30 mins of cardio 5 times per wk as directed by my MD since the diabetes diagnosis. I have been faithful to that plan for a little over a…

As I got closer to 50, I thought of Linda Evans from the old Dynasty show and how hot she was at 50. I was determined to be like her! Well, I kept my useless habits and kept on gaining weight. At my heaviest this past spring, I hit 248 lbs. I joined a gym with my husband and am currently at 225 lbs. For my 51st birthday…

That looks fantastic! I might try it with some Tilapia I have in the freezer. Did you take the picture? If so, you should be a food stylist! Best wishes in your health journey.

I bought Stevia and thought it tasted terrible. My sister tried it for baking and threw the dish away. I think we need to learn to live in the sugar world...but use smaller portions! How about making cake balls? Each person gets a bite of a sinfully delicious piece of cake with frosting and stops right there. Bakerella.com…
