Just glancing at it, you are going to get tired of eating chicken breast. No veggies....you can easily steam or roast them and there are ways to incorporate fruits. Naturally occurring sugars are vastly different than heaps of white sugar. Keep that in mind. You need more variety I would say.

I noticed changes within the first 10 pounds lost. Others started noticing at about the 3/4 month mark...about 30 lbs lost
-
It's unhealthy to try to lose more than that. Trying to lose too much too fast will have bad outcomes...

That makes sense! Thank you so much!

Thank You Ruby! I think I have it now. Apparently I am not eating enough. My weightloss has completely stalled although I am working out 5-6 times per week. So in essence I need to go into MFP and change my net from 1540 to 1990? Thats gonna be tough to hit....I havent consistently eaten that many calories in a long time...
-
Anyone with any other ideas?

Thank you so much Lisa! I am at a loss as to what is happening. Literally the first 90 lbs came off fairly easy. I will look into what you mentioned!

No...I find that it's a detergent to my journey especially since I lift...

I love to cook and it has been the secret to our weightloss success in our home. I am down 90 and the hubby is down 75. We still eat recipes we like but with healthier options and alternatives. Less butter, using olive oil, lean cuts of meats, veggies in each meal, no snacks, substituting ingredients. It has worked for us…

You can find it on YouTube for free. I did it for two weeks or so and found it boring. There is much caloric burn for the workout.

All of this...

Personal preference. I continue to weigh and take any gain with a grain of salt in case there is some water retention happening.

Melissa Bender has amazing workouts on her blog... benderfitness.com. Most take between 10-30 minutes depending on what you choose.

Walmart! All of my workout clothes are from there and they fit great. They have a variety of sizes from XS to 4X I believe...

Not nearly as much as you would think! Somewhere between 100-170 calories depending on your intensity level...

Typically after work....around 8 p.m.

I ran into this same problem doing their circuit. I entered mine as the Curves circuit training and it seemed to be accurate based on how I felt after completing it. The system guesstimated I burned 250-300 calories but that was totally dependent on if I did all of the step cardio work in between machines. Having an HRM of…

I am a teacher as well and find my motivation to be better during the school year. The summer makes me lazy! With that said during the schoolyear and summer I workout every other day (minimum 4 days a week) doing between 30-45 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes or so of lifting. I simply can not workout in the morning so I…

Thanks for that info! I imagine in these types of situations with doctor supervision it is safe...

In all honesty this sounds less like an issue with diet and exercise and more of a problem of self-image and what healthy REALLY is.... no advice here...

I have never done the HCG diet but have heard alot about it. What sent up a red flag for me was the 500 calorie a day restriction. In what universe is calorie restriction that low and taughts itself as healthy? It sounds like your body is trying to figure itself out.

I have NEVER heard of rinsing ground beef! You mean with water? That sounds...interesting. To answer your question, I use ground beef all the time and just make sure to let it drain for awhile and then press down hard with the back of spoon to get out as much fat as possible. Seems to do the trick.

So eloquently put! I agree!
-
This right here. The hubby is not a fan and if I want a burger I cub prefer beef. Too each his own.

Hummus and pita chips works for me!

You need to eat more...

I started it two weeks ago but I don't do it each day. After day 1 I was hurting all over but it's much easier to do now.... PROS: Doesn't take as long as working out at the gym does CONS: Jillian's voice

When logging exercise MFP seems to grossly exaggerate how many calories are burned! I only use the HRM on the machine it self and then adjust up a few calories because when I had an HRM it consistently read 40-50 more calories burned than the machine said...has worked so far.
