How old were you when you got engaged? I was 22, he was 26. How long had you been together before getting engaged? 2 years, but we had been friends for five years before that. How old were you when you got married? 23, he was 27. Are you still together (if so, for how long)? Yes, we've been married for 15 years so far.

I gave up Catholicism for Lent.

I wouldn't even know where to start. I've been the primary cook for a family of four (plus extras almost every night for dinner) for almost 20 years.

my favorite way with tuna is to add a tiny tidge of sesame oil, a bit of soy sauce, a sprinkle of nutritional yeast (tastes similar to parmesan cheese but extremely high in b vitamins) and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.

Erm, this is contrary to what I learned in Anatomy/Physiology 1, 2 and 3.

I have lost significant weight before, and my arms are an area that changes dramatically. To be honest, I had the best luck with buying those wraps for the upper arms and wearing those for a few months while the skin settled in. Made it smoother and firmer by quite a lot. You can get them on amazon, can't remember…

I can go into the average backyard and find enough edible plants to make a damn good stirfry and salad.

Moderator. I ain't doing this thing if it means giving up the pleasures in life. And yes, food is a pleasure. Screw this "eat to live" stuff. I LOVE FOOD. I love cooking really damned good food, I love having friends over for awesome dinner parties, I enjoy trying new exotic food in exotic places. I can be moderate, every…

Do you eat honey?

At the moment I'm into the Ginger Martini - Canton Ginger liqueur, Grand Marnier and vodka. I like to substitute the Grand Marnier with extra-spicy ginger beer.

I do my yoga at home. It doesn't require anything but my $15 sticky mat and it gets as intense as I want to make it. My husband has a home gym sorta thing that cost $300 at Sears 15 years ago and it serves pretty well.

I weigh during that time, but not to get an accurate gauge of my weight. I do it to keep an eye on my water retention level, so I can drink more water/reduce caffeine/reduce salt/sugar if it starts to get out of hand. Bloat is more than just uncomfortable and annoying, it also raises my blood pressure so I try to pay…

At 220 I could still ride my bike, although I wanted a bigger seat to cut down on the soreness. But hey, bike seats have always made my butt sore, even when I was normal weight. I would think a mountain bike might be sturdier for more weight, but I dunno. I do recommend getting a big wide squishy seat for it though.

Hmm, I mostly just cook whatever I want, I just remove the unnecessary extra fat and cals along the way. I guess one thing he loves is cajun-blackened catfish or tilapia. I do this on the grill outside using a cast-iron pan so that the house doesn't get all smoked up. He eats his on bread with cheese, I eat mine with a…

My family goes nuts over pea salad, which is a pretty typical Southern thing. :) Get a bag of frozen peas, soak in cold water to thaw and then drain really well. Hard-boil two eggs and dice 4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese, cut into small dice a few green onions, chopped some minced fresh mint leaves, or break open an…

You could get the sandwich and remove one half of the bun maybe...would that work?

I prefer my spinach cooked, I feel it has more flavor that way. It only takes about ten seconds to cook. I just heat up my wok (skillet will work) with a very small dribble of olive oil and throw in the spinach and stir until it wilts and is bright green. Immediately remove from heat to a serving bowl, add a shake or two…

I like to have a cup of herbal tea with half a cup of skim milk added (obviously not a terribly acidic/fruity tea or it will curdle - usually i go with chamomile or peppermint, which is yummy with some milk added). It fills me up, warms me up and usually makes me pass out stone cold.

I like shaggy unless your hair is really curly/wavy/frizzy. in that case, shorter works better.

have you been measuring your body? seriously, you should. often when you don't see any difference on the scale you'll see a difference in your measurements.

I found that nursing made it WAY easier to lose weight. Both times.

I go ahead and have what I am *really* craving - once I put in the time to narrow it down to exactly the right thing. But I also drink massive amounts of hot herbal tea so my tummy is nice and warm and full feeling to begin with, and then I need less of the other stuff. Also bringing servings out in a bowl, rather than…

Oh, whatever. Babies need to be fat. Unless the development of brain tissue isn't a big priority.

Probably tastes just like peanut butter, but the fat/calories will be reduced per serving. And the mixing it with cool whip and splenda probably approximates an old-fashioned fluffer nutter spread. ;)

Maybe it gets oily BECAUSE you wash it every day - your scalp might sense the dryness and send your oil glands into overdrive. Just a thought. [/quote] Yeah, whatever, I've had this tossed at me before lots of times, often by people with no idea that they still smell like their stale pillowcase at 3 in the afternoon.…

Hilarious. :)

I'm a bath junkie as a former soapmaker, actually. I try to keep it down to twice a day but if I get chilly or need perking up I might take a third or fourth. :) Seriously, though, I feel fine skipping a day here and there as long as a personal check is performed and spot maintenance is done. I go even longer when the…

if you're exercising that much every day, you should be eating more than 1200 calories a day. Your metabolism is going to get jacked up if you keep going like that. Give it a few days of eating your exercise-gained calories back, in addition to your baseline 1200 calories a day, and see if you don't start dropping some.

While I think some soreness is a good sign that you're building strength, being so sore you're afraid to sneeze is not conducive to developing long-term new habits, I don't think. I would be tempted to tone it down just a bit, get it to a manageable level. That said, working through it (although it's a drag at first) seems…

A pound a day? Seriously? Did you get the lap band procedure? Are you under medical supervision? Normally that would be considered pretty dangerous.
