Hey everyone, new member here. I just finished day 2 and am happy to have found the group. I know that when I completed P90X that having an awesome group was invaluable. Greg

Just finished day two here...enjoyed Agility X. Definitely reminded my of Insanity and T25.
-
We've done P90X before and so far have enjoyed what we did.

My motivation was to get back into a state of health that wasn't dependent on medication, to lose the fat and size that had built up, to be able to fit into my clothes again, and to just be happier. I didn't really like who I had become.

Julie, I would love to have you! I've sent you a friend request and will PM you as well. Greg
-
Minnie, Absolutely! I would love to have you join me as a support partner. Greg

When I first saw Turbo Fire, I didn't think I was going to like it but I couldn't have been more wrong. I love the music, love the energy, and love how hard it works me. I can typically get through the workouts (still learning the moves) but it will definitely have my heart going and my calories burning. I now understand…

This year I gave up my gym membership and have replaced my workouts with walking, P90X, Turbo Fire, and Insanity. I am in the best shape I've been in a long time, and get better more balanced and more challenging workouts than I got on my own.

I want a meso body...
-
Did my first night of TurboFire tonight and burned 720 calories in 50 minutes. LOVE IT!!!
-
Shalean, I would love to have you join me as part of the support group. I'm going to bust my butt to get the full 90 days down. Greg

Personally, the more I do Yoga X the more I fall in love with it. I have seen significant improvement in my strength, balance, and flexibility as a result of it. I also usually get an incredible calorie burn from it 500+ calories, and a lot of sweat which is awesome as it is all coming from a lower heart rate which means…

You need accountability partners and/or a support group. Also, you need to ask yourself WHY this is important to you... not just for now but for the rest of your life.
-
From everyone I know, you get what you pay for... those who have bought really cheap models have either said they don't work well or end up being quickly replaced. Personally, I think you would be better off looking at a Polar FT4 - which can be found for about $60 (www.bodytronics.com) and you can typically get another 5%…

I've been doing P90X for about 120 days (am now in my second round) and I have to say that I love this workout. Since I started, I've lost 10 pounds, over 8% body fat, and have gained significant strength and muscle. I love this workout and have seen a lot of people have success with it. As you will see in my other post in…

Sandra, Sent you the details about joining the group. Greg

Between my two jobs, I often work between 10-12 hours a day, have time to spend with my family, and I still find time to workout every day. It is simply a matter of priorities. The Inanity workouts are mainly about 45-60 minutes long, and like any exercise... the more consistently you do them and stick to your schedule the…

Shameless bump... the group is now up to about 8 people, we'd love to have more join us.
-
Sent information to everyone. Let me know if you want to join.

To everyone who replied here... YES, there is still time to get started. No, it doesn't matter if you are a day late, a week late, or three weeks late in starting. This group is here to help support you through your 90 Days of P90X no matter when you start. I have to step out for a bit but will be sending you all messages…

Sent you information and would totally love to have you join us. Greg

There is no doubt that Insanity is intense, but having done portions of it I think is that way no matter what shape or condition you are in. insanity is definitely an intense cardio workout and does have some higher impact components to it. However, as a Beachbody Coach and user of their workouts what I have learned is…

I am still active on here every day (some days more than others) but am happy to have you add me as a friend and help you out however I can. Your progress so far is nothing short of amazing! Great job.

Welcome to MFP, I too think it is much better than WW (having done both as well). The key is figuring out your calorie needs and how to use the MFP system, and then to track everything you eat and start moving your body. I'm happy to help however I can if you need a friend here. Greg

Messages have been sent to everyone who has expressed an interest in joining this Challenge and Support Group. If you are interested, we still have room and time for you to get started. Greg

P90X works great with low carb diets, in fact the first 60 days really cut back on the carbs and significantly increase the protein in your diet to drop body fat. I am just starting my second round of P90X and would be happy to answer any questions you might have or to help you get started. Greg

While I've not had to lose as much as you, I can say that it is all about having the right "why" which will drive, and continue to build your motivation. You have already made huge steps by changing your diet and cutting out the soda. Keep working to eat I thin your calories and get your body moving. Walks are fantastic.…

Bonnie, Welcome to MFP, this is a great site with a lot of great support. What you are looking to achieve is absolutely possible but is going to come down to nutrition and moving your body. With your knee injuries and foot problems what type of activities are you able to do? Greg
