Wow, great results for June. You'll be at goal weight soon! Are you cutting through July?
-
Current weight. The calc is just an estimate. Once you eat at that level for.a few weeks you can move up to test out the tdee. I think it's okay to think of macros as a range. It would be nearly impossible to hit each one on the nose.
-
I wouldn't worry about the fat grams. As you increase calories the fat grams will increase as well. If you are hungry all the time, you need more food. I'm not to my goal yet but I have come to love myself and to feed my body. It's much better on this side I promise you. Give into the process.

Yes @TerezaToledo

Also, haven't weighed in... ? Weeks. Tossed my scale - no regrets.

Seeing some gains in my arm muscles. Woot! Also, today I took my kids out for ice cream. I was feeling free to get an ice cream but decided against it because I had ice cream/brownies on Sunday and it gave me a nasty headache. I love being free to have one, if I want. Not compelled because I don't have self control. Not…

I started with strong lifts 5x5 but branched out from there. Kiki's programs are great. You tubed linked as well.
-
Slow and steady! No need to rush (learn from me!)
-
that's awesome! I think I rushed my reset
-
Congrats!!!!! You will look beautiful in your dress! When is the big day? I guess I would say just keep on doing what you are doing. Aren't you getting close to your goal?
-
Welcome!

It was me who shared that. I, too, was blown away with her results. I'm not sure that's how it will work for me but I think the main thing to remember is it takes a long time, probably years. So, be dedicated to doing the same things to improving your body: eat your calories, stay in your macros, lift, and make it a…

When you reset you are trying to reach the number of calories that you body should maintain at. If you've been eating very low calorie you will need to "reset" that number by moving up to that number and staying there. Once your body has adapted to more calories, you can cut some calories and do a cut. Does that help…

Awesome update! I got rid of my scale, no regrets!

NSV: posted a picture of me fishing that had my torso in it. I'm wearing white- not black to try and slim (and die of heat exhaustion like I usually do). My belly isn't hidden behind a child either. I feel like this is a big mental victory for me! Now hopefully these good feelings will continue even though I am getting to…

The mental game- feeling fat and gross when eating and/or not seeing results. So also, patience and consistency all rolled into one.
-
I agree. I ripped off the bandaid and gained 17 pounds and 8 inches. It was/is miserable. I wish I would have went slowly because I am not better off now than I would have been.
-
This is a great attitude. I'm not sure I am quite there yet, but I am inching closer.

Just some thoughts: Hey, Check out @Adrienneosuna on Instagram. She is an inspiration to me. She weighs the exact same but has lost 6 sizes, eats 2000 calories, lifts etc. But it's encouraging to me because she looks more like me than many fitspo. It's made me look at adding more calories, lifting harder (love to lift) and…

Is it the PRs and NSVs post you are referencing? If so, it brings up a good question - can you eat at a deficit and not lose muscle? If your protein is high? And still lifting heavy/progressing on your lifts?
-
Wow, big difference!
-
Definitely look small in the belly! Keep going!!
-
Woo! Great PR! Are you still in a deficit too?
-
^ this is me right now. So tired. But when eating more I was not making any progress. I cannot be bursting out of my jeans forever. It's so uncomfortable for me to carry around this much fat (mostly belly!) Feel like it's a real catch22! Are your inches still decreasing?
-
Congrats on the weight loss! Go start lifting-- it's one of my favorite things to do!
-
If I remember correctly, I seemed to gain several pounds at once every other week or so. I have no Fitbit of any kind.
-
Awesome update!
-
I had stabilised. Then went up another 100 calories just to test, gained. When I went back down I was still inconsistent and my weight did not go back down at all. So maybe more deficit?
-
Up a half inch or so, then down a quarter inch. I suppose some of that could be muscle retaining water? And that's why it seems to move around a lot?
-
Recomping is more changing your body shape through nutrition and lifting. Muscle is smaller than fat so you could weigh the same while being smaller. Try working up to tdee and incorporating weight lifting. You may be very happy with the changes, but after 2-3 months you could cut some calories to lose some more fat. This…
