Thank you for this response. I didn't think foot cramps could be caused because of calf and foot strength. I did some calf, foot and ankle stretches just now and I feel good, however I did notice on some of the rotations I could feel the muscles that usually cramp up in my feet are tight.

I can't get past the taste of gatorade (tastes weird and salty), and so I was looking for solid food sources I could use instead. Are muscle cramps like this mainly because of electrolyte deficiencies?

I used to find hitting 1200 calories hard, mainly because I had become scared of eating much of anything. No, I've never heard/nor done the diet and probably would never do so. I don't think I should have to buy anything (besides my own food) to make a diet work. If his diet is mainly a vegan one, then why do you have to buy products and not just vegetables, fruits, soy/tempeh you'd like to cook with?

He knows because after each weigh in I have, I usually tell him (he knows I'm working on weight loss). I haven't told other people though, they just see the results.

When lifting alone, don't forget the power rack is your friend. You can set it up in a way to do your squats inside of it to catch the bar in case you fail the rep etc.

I don't feel like I need to eat more, my wanting to know about how long to stay in a deficit wasn't driven by hunger. Thankfully I've not been feeling depraved.
