Ooh I'm loving the sticker idea!

I sometimes have a piece of crystalised ginger - nice if you can handle the strong ginger taste and is good for the digestive system. I try to avoid chewing too much gum as I've heard it encourages you to swallow air which can result in bloating. Not sure how true this is though.

Are they digital or mechanical? I have some digital scales that always give different readings even though they are on a flat surface (I weigh myself a few times then go with the average number). Doctors surgeries and hospitals in the UK (I'm not sure where you are) often have scales in the waiting rooms that are pretty…

Call me sad...but I quite like logging at the end of the day as it makes me happy seeing that I've been 'good' and then adding exercise and seeing an even better result! :) I always plan my meals in advance though, particularly on a work day.

I've heard that too. Some places say the food digesting in your stomach stops you sleeping well and others contradict it by saying sleeping slows down your digestion so the food will just sit in your stomach. Does anyone know more about this? The point is, if you are going to eat late, surely something like a banana is a…

Do you log your food on MFP? Since I joined I find clicking the finish logging button (or whatever it's called) after my evening meal/snack helps me feel like' right, that's it for the day'. If I still feel the urge to eat something I will normally go have a relaxing bath and then watch a film or read in bed to get away…

Hi Carrie I'm new to MFP too so thought I'd say hello :) Have you set up your ticker yet? I think it's a good motivational tool for some and am looking forward to seeing mine count down the lb's!

Thank you for your reply Cami, I'm glad your meds are working well for you. I think I will talk to my doctor about nutrition and see if there is any advice he can give me. I did see a nutritionist a few years ago but it cost too much for me to keep going. What do people mean by 'skinny fat' ? I'm starting up Yoga and…
