You need to give yourself some time to recuperate after such a surgery the outside might seem like it's healed but on the inside it takes a bit more time. As for toning the tummy, sprints work really great. They not only tone your legs, and bum, but also your core.

I can't give up carbs either because I'll also binge eat. And it will be with all kinds of sweets. So I don't give up my carbs I just try to control how much I consume. I'm not perfect at it but I'm still learning. :wink:

I'm also lifting and find that helps out better with the weight loss no so much on the scale but my jeans fit better, and that's better than what any dumb old scale says. LOL!:wink:

I think that you should try it for a couple of weeks to see how it goes if it's not the weight loss you expect then lower the intake or adjust the activity level on MFP. You could try walking every day and progressively adding 5 to 10 min each week. If 30 minutes feels too much to start off with try 15 to 20 and progress from there. The idea is that you start no matter how little but that you start and keep going.
