I'm unfortunately one of those people who actually have an allergic reaction to artificial sweeteners, I discovered this when a Nutritionist gave a diet plan to use foods with them to lower my calorie intake, I started to feel like I had sand in my throat and it progressed to a swollen tongue and difficulty in swallowing…

I also don't have a photo of myself, it's your choice and whatever you feel comfortable with.

That actually depends on what you want to accomplish and how feel about the options out there. There are pre-workout shakes that you could make, be that vitamin shop or home made, also the same for post-workout. For pre-workout I usually have my multivitamins and B-12, but after my workout I have a whey protein shake with…

Hi, thanks for the measure info. But pardon my ignorance, what is the figure 8 girth measurement, how is it done?

I'v lost 8 lb. so far and physically you can see that I've lost weight but normally 8 lb. wouldn't actually be so noticeable, but since I'm doing a lot of training I've been able to get into a smaller pair of jeans :D, even if the scale hasn't moved much. So in answer to your question yes most probably, but just make sure…

Great way to start the year! :D I'm on my way to loose those 30 lb. and since I'm training I haven't seen the scale move much but when I was able to get into some of my smaller jeans, it was a great feeling. Anyways here to help. Good luck to you!

Hey don't worry so much at least you dropped 2 lb., I had gained 4 lb. Now that was frustrating! But what it turned out was that I was exercising more so therefore I was hungrier and not drinking enough water. When I started actually measuring EVERYTHING and logging EVERY bite (even that teeny tiny bite of my son's candy…

I'm in! I do binge in the afternoons when I'm feeling bored and I noticed that I was thirsty really and not hungry but I would eat instead. Now my goal is to try to drink enough water and noticed that the days that I drink plenty of water I don't over eat or binge.

I do cross fit and right after I train I take my protein shake and eat a cup of green beans, that not only helps keep muscle mass but it also keeps you full. I use the GNC Wheybolic Amplified Extreme 60 in the flavors of chocolate and vanilla (the chocolate is like drinking chocolate milk!), I only use one scoop and its 93…

You might try getting more protein in his meals that tend to fill more since the veggies don't seem to do much for filling him up. But for the eggs I make an omelet with 4 egg whites and one whole egg with spinach, onions, and olives and that fills me up but for my hubby its 7 egg whites and one whole egg with the veggies…

You don't need to run to burn calories, you could power walk and you'll burn just as many as running. I have bad knees but it's usually the lunges that I have difficulty with so I use knee wraps. You might want to invest in good quality knee wraps if you plan on weight training since you want to loose and tone.

I've used this recipe myself and they are really good, but without sugar? I don't think they would be edible at all. Anyways I recommend them, even my kids eat the bread. They are a little heavier than regular bread but they are satisfying, Each bun has 108 Calories; 1g Fat; 5g Protein; 20g Carbohydrate; 4g Dietary Fiber;…

I would check with my doctor. It could be your body giving a type of warning.

I agree with Carly sometimes we loose inches and the scale stays about the same. Here for support if needed. :)

I'm doing better in keeping up with the exercises since my sister-in-law is doing them with me. Since I know someone is counting on me I seem to have more motivation in doing them.

We go over in sugar because life today is chalk full of refined sugar in the majority of our foods. Probably a hundred years ago or maybe more before the making of sugar in Europe we didn't consume as much, but unfortunately if we were to eat like that now we wouldn't like our food very much. There probably wasn't any…

I'm 5'3.5" ( that half inch counts! Lol!) at 175 lbs and wear 12 in some brands and others my legs won't fit even going up to a size 16 :grumble:

I would love to give you some of mine! I'm like a lobster it's ALL in the rear! I do know that while you won't get the JLo booty you can actually build the muscle to get it to look nice and more rounded so that it will look like there's more junk in the trunk. =). There are quite a few routines for that.

If you don't have a lot of money to buy weights the best thing is calisthenics. You use your own body weight to build muscle and at the same time it's cardio. For example push-ups, there are many variations of the push according to your strength level, plus they work various muscle groups, another are squats you can work…

Ignore the sabotagers!!!!! You can do it. My sister-in-law has hypothyroidism and she was able to loose over 30lbs. It's just maintaining your thyroid and eating healthy.

Me and my husband are doing Insanity and he isn't saying it's a chick workout. Lol!!

It's totally natural to have one side larger than the other. Some people it's more noticeable than others. Once in my math class we did a project on symmetry and asymmetry, we took a foto of our face and divided it and copied one of the halves and placed it next to its original, we would look really weird if we were…
