  • Hi there Jodi. I have many friends who have been prescribed Xenicol from their GP, just be careful what you are eating i.e fat and sugar, as it can cause the need for a rush to the loo!!!! :blushing: Good luck with it. add my if you need any friends. Tx
  • It's just me and my Ipod......music is very much my motivator. :glasses: Tx
  • It's great that people are noticing connie48 So things must be moving in the right direction. A good news, despite staying the same. I am delighted I have lost another half a pound this week....which is delightful. Tx
  • Hi Kami. Welcome to MFP and your weight loss journey. If you need any friends add me. Tx
  • Enjoy WW I know I do. Tx
  • This is what I do and it means I can keep going for 30 mins. Tx
  • I always weigh in on a wednesday morning and always take the first reading that it shows. Happy weighing Tx
  • I have done WW and lost 70lbs. And I have kept it off for 5 years. I now do WW and MFP side by side just to boost my last 10lbs to loose. No one weight loss plan is better than the other, it's whatever works for you and whatever one you can stick at. It is worth giving it a go but MFP basically is like WW but without the…
  • Is this true....tea counts as water too?? If so thats ace. Thanks Tx
  • I am so with you on this. I too like to take a break at the weekends and it is this that makes me stay on track during the week....it is my incentive, a treat if you like. I tend to eat what my body fancies at weekends but I try to do lots of exercise during the day to try and make up for the damage I may cause. I must…
  • Well it is here in the Uk!! Try any clear spirit as all are low in calories and mix them with a diet/light soda or water and a slice of lemon or lime. Apparently Malibu is one of the lowest calorific drinks. Hope that helps and have a great time :drinker: :drinker: Tx
  • I do find that if I haven't lost weight and measurements have dropped that gives me the boost I need and makes me motivated again. Tx
  • Feel free to add me as a friend. I didn't get it at first but now I kinda am!!! Be good to have more friends and good luck with your journey. Tx
  • At least Connie48 you did not put on that in itself is a bonus and you have good weather, even though it's humid. It has done nothing but rain here for a fortnight...so much for summer!!! This week was a good week for me, as I lost 1lb and have lost yet another half an inch off my waist. It is so great to finally see some…
  • I too am a slow loser, actually so slow I have come to a stand still. However I am still motivated to keep going as I have lost 70 lbs so far, that was prior to starting MFP a month ago, but to be honest, disheartenment does come with the weekly weigh in!! So thank you Littlecompton for your great words of wisdom…
  • You could always take on a sophisticated stance with a Dry Martini and Diet Lemonade. This is the lowest calorie drink I know and is served in a tall glass so lasts longer. So be just like James Bond for the night and have it shaken not stirred!!! Have a good time :drinker: Tx
  • I have only been doing MFP for a month, but prior to this I have lost 70lbs, which I did in 8 months. I lost 14.5lbs in the first 4 weeks and put it down to the fact that I needed to loose the weight and too be fair had a lot to loose, after this it slowed down and I have since kept it off for 5 years now, I dont know if…
  • I am like you and this happened to me today, but I listened to the guys on MFP and ate some breakfast, even if it wasn't till late morning, then went to the gym and had an ace workout. I find it too easy to skip meals, but the weight does not come off. Now I do eat breakfast and I have started loosing!! Thank goodness.…
  • Here Here to having more friends and support....Add me too, i've only got 2 and one of them is my husband.....how sad am I!!! Tx
