Hi everyone! I've got 160 pounds to lose... I'm happy to be working on it again! Please add me :)

Good morning! I'm just getting started again this week too! I've got 160 pounds to lose, but I feel better already having gotten back on the right track! Working on it feels SOOOO much better than just being pissed at myself for not fitting in my clothes! I'll add ya, and anyone else is welcome to add me! :D

Last year I was "Life meets Death"... I painted half of my face as a sugar skull from Dia de los Muertos, and carried a bunch of silk roses and wore a black dress. I had heavy makeup (dark red lips, played up eyes) to look more... alive I suppose. lol It looked AWESOME! One of the girls at work couldn't even look at me…

Hi! Feel free to add me if you'd like another friend! :)

Morning! I'm 35, and need more friends too! Add me :D

Hmm. Well, I have a few pieces of advice because I have been right where you are (but fortunately got laid off from the crap job I had). 1) Check out YNAB.com. It's the website for You Need a Budget. This program has completely changed me & my husband's lives. Please read through the program, and know that it is absolutely…

I feel ya! I had my husband put the scale on top of the cabinets in the bathroom where I can't reach it... and I don't get it back until HALLOWEEN... It's already driving me nuts not being able to weigh, but now I can focus on how my clothes fit and how I feel instead of obsessing over that stupid little number. That's all…

Hooray!!! =D I can't wait to be there myself!

Start real slow on the exercise because of your knee... just do 5 or 10 minutes of walking maybe when you first wake up, then when you get home from work. Doesn't have to be much to start getting more flexible and stronger. =) Hang in there! YOU CAN DO IT!

Welcome to the most supportive community anywhere! I highly recommend listening to Renee Stephens' podcasts called Inside Out Weight Loss. They have helped make my journey easier, and helped me understand why I haven't succeeded at weight loss in the past. Find them at personallifemedia.com. Friend request sent!

I believe they are talking about tabletop games here, not video gaming.

HAHA I just had a great idea... ROLL FOR YOUR SNACKS! Roll a D20, and if it's 11 and up, have something healthy... and if its 10 or below, have a single serving of one of your treat snacks! lol
-
Try portioning out exactly how much you can have ahead of time. Also, intersperse your favorite (SINGLE SERVING) snacks with healthy ones. Say you're going to be playing for 4-6 hours (I play D&D as well)... You're probably going to need a real meal during that time, and maybe 2-3 snacks (being generous). If you plan to…

I'm still in the beginning of my journey, and it's so inspiring to see such amazing results! Thank you for sharing your story, and your pics! This morning was the first time I felt a little smaller than before, and really noticed my shirt hanging differently... not to mention the biceps I'm rocking! haha Anyway, great job,…

SW: 5'5" - 302 - Size 26/28 pants.... I just started 2 weeks ago, I'm down around 10 pounds, and pants are definitely fitting better!

Congrats!!

I used to save all my calories for the end of the day too! I find that little snacks to keep myself from getting crazy hungry help ward off the urge to eat a huge dinner and keep snacking the rest of the night. If you're craving something sweet, get some popsicles... I tried TCBY's Chocolate popsicles last night, and they…

I weigh in every morning, but I only record the losses. It helps me stay motivated, yet have enough information to work extra hard on the up days. (Routine: Wake up, use bathroom, weigh, workout (here's where you work it hard), shower!)

Welcome, Tiffany! I'm new to the message boards, but not MFP... so I'm looking for support as well! =) I started really watching what I eat a few weeks ago, and I've lost about 10 pounds so far. I've also been walking at least a half mile almost every day. I got the Runkeeper app to track my exercise, and joined the…
