  • My goal is set to maintenance so BFing becomes my deficit... in theory. Of course, the out of control hunger keeps me going over... usually to ACTUAL maintenance. *sigh*
  • "Be brave enough to live creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You cannot get there by bus, only by hard work, risking and by not quite knowing what you are doing. What you will discover will be…
  • Ugh. That's gotta majorly suck. *hand claps* Yay for standing your BF ground! :drinker: I pump, but because I work... my husband washes all the bottles and pump parts and does all the bottle feeding during the day... he doesn't want even more of it. LOL.
  • :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: This.
  • How is everyone doing? How are your little ones? I've been stuck, pound wise, at around 23 pounds down from high weight (down 13 pounds post-delivery high) and am slowly adding in more exercise. Breast feeding is going well as is being back at work (which still sucks but... hey... earn a living). But my iron levels are…
  • I drink it. :drinker: Honest answer - I budget the calories in my daily goal and, if need be, add some extra exercise in to make it work. p.s. Thanks for reminding me that I need to pick up some Guinness on the way home and redo my plan for the day (i.e. remove ice cream and add the Guinness).
  • Congratulations! QuitNet.com is an awesome support system. 10 months smoke free and I still lean on it.
  • 6 week post partum check up today. Doc said I'm still healing and to hold off on strenuous exercise for a couple of more weeks.
  • Why pump if you don't have to? That's silly. I only pump because I'm back at work already. I'm waiting to do more than just walking until after my six week check up on Wednesday... and may wait a little longer than that just because I'm still quite tender, especially around my tubal scar.
  • http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/ZombieSlayer/view/post-pregnancy-clothing-557852 So... as any woman who has given birth knows, our bodies don't "snap back" to prepregnancy stats immediately. Well... about a year or so ago, I'd gotten rid of all of my "fat" clothes because they were just wasting space. Now that whole…
  • Oh... and picamatures! They're big so... just a link - http://smg.photobucket.com/user/baisleac/library/Two_Little_Monkeys/Siannon_Newborn_shoot-3weeks
  • I've been sitting on the sofa nursing all day, every day, for a month so haven't been on the computer much. Rosy, you look sinfully awesome for 3 weeks pp... heck... for anything. Siannon is growing like a weed. She'd gained back her 10% loss post-birth and then some by two weeks. Her next appointment isn't until her 2…
  • I'm down 19 from highest pregnancy weight, down 9 from discharge weight. But I'd gained 58. With my first I didn't lose any weight until I weaned. I was an Exclusive Pumper and found that even the smallest calorie restriction caused my supply to drop... so this time, I'm just set at losing 1/4 pound per week (including…
  • I was going to update my weight today, so weighed myself getting out of bed... Bug needed to eat right away so got that taken care of... out of curiosity I stepped back on the scale. She apparently ate a pound worth of milk.
  • Rosy, those cheeks!
  • So... it's been a week but... Siannon Georgina Kesilis arrived on 6/17 @ 7:16 am, weighing in at 8 lbs 7 oz, and measuring 20" long. Headed to the hospital at 11:30 pm-ish on Sunday evening, with uneven but VERY painful contractions. Arrived still at 3 cm, still irregular contractions, but in the hour & a half waiting for…

  • Also still pregnant (39w5d), dang it. My 1st came at 39w3d... this one's being stubborn. I have SPD, but have been walking despite the pain because I need this booger to come out. LOL.
  • A) You do NOT have a huge belly. B) I'd guess, by visual, that the 20.5% is pretty close.
  • Ugh. 38w2d. 2nd child. 1st was almost a week early. This one... still floatin'. Soft cervix but no dilation and no engagement. Come on kid... mama's in pain here.
  • I'm hoping to see a slew of birth announcements soon, ladies!

  • Water weight... totally normal.
  • Nothing embarrassing about it... My goal is also high. I happen to have dense bones (yes, they are a real thing) and build muscle mass fairly easily (often goes with dense bones). Me... at 5'4", 156 lbs, 24.6% body fat... before this second pregnancy, of course.

  • http://www.hdmb.net/ I'm behind on adding recipes, but there are a lot of yummy ones there already.
  • Not the original target but... yes. And yeah... it's a question that has come up (and not just regarding celebrities). We're both honest with each other. Would we actually **** someone else? Probably not, but the desire to is human nature.
