Washing your food before you eat it... like raccoons.

Hypothyroidism, depression, and general anxiety. The first two make it hard to find the energy to get up and get moving, so my goal is small... 5000 steps a day (I have a sit down job so it's actually a challenge). The GAD prevents a gym membership from being a realistic thing, but we have a treadmill in the office and…

Depression and anxiety, official diagnosis. Hypothyroidism doesn't help with either, nor does pernicious anemia... but I get both. Just finishing another round of high dose vitamin D too.

6.8#... Aimed for 1.5# per week, so not too shabby.

Bump... now that support is officially rescinded.

Wellbutrin (and its generic forms) has a potential side effect of appetite suppression. But some tend to cause weight gain and yet others are considered "weight neutral".

Family of four, U.S. Pacific NW. I spend $250-$350 a month, with an extra $100/month budgeted in November & December.

Only ever done calorie counting + more movement.

Eating before 11-ish makes me nauseous, so usually it's lunch around noon, dinner around 5:30, and dessert (or just snack) around 8ish.

I'm on Effexor, for depression/anxiety, partly because it's weight neutral. I've been losing steadily.

Former BMF user, switched to the Up3 because ability to use the BMF is disappearing at the end of the month. The Up3 sucks at tracking sleep, but seems to do well with tracking actual calorie burn and the app is nice.

Hee! That's why we call them Planned Overs. We've figured out how much we eat and make sure the meal prepared is big enough that some will be left over:smile: .

True, but dinner is generally the sticking point for a lot of people. And our total grocery bill; including breakfast, lunch, and snacks is under $200 a month. 5 dinners this week actually total less than $20 cost. Lunch is often leftover dinner... or Planned Overs.

First, get stay at home MOM out of your head. Being a stay at home PARENT is not easy. It would certainly be a valid career choice if we paid the person what they are worth. Instead, they get paid with the reward of not paying someone else to raise their child for over half of their waking hours. As a future career choice,…

Ben & Jerry... but I could never actually break up with them. We just sneak out, behind the husband's back, once a month or so. :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: Cheese, on the other hand, is just part of the family.

*raises hand* There is a difference between eating healthy and eating clean though... I generally try to eat "healthy" with a side dose of ice cream.

I can say for a fact that it was easier when I had just a 3 year old and not the boob-monster 7 month old. Once my youngest isn't sucking my life-blood (milk) every hour and a half when I'm home (evenings and overnight), I'll be able to make the time to exercise again. The feed, lift, feed timing just didn't/doesn't work…

This. Just in the last year, we've been able to set up savings accounts, both for the family and for the kids. The kids each have $25 in theirs, as a starter. Any gift money they get from relatives will be split in half; half in savings, half spent on them until they each turn 5. Then they get to help decide how the money…

This is what I got from the article as well.

Either eggs scrambled with cheese (this morning) or oatmeal with coconut oil & brown sugar. Very rarely, on a weekend, I'll get pancakes... not protein healthy pancakes but full fat, high carb, smothered in syrup pancakes.
