Yeah, this was the first thing I thought of, as well. BWAHAHAHAHA!

PCOS blows, pure and simple. Two years of metformin plus BC pills at age 38 finally got my periods on track for the first time in my life, but I still have the carb issues, the migraines, the geologically slow weight loss, blargh. And don't get me started on the water retention -- oh, that's just SO much fun.

Looking good!

Seeing as goal is 128 pounds away, I can't wait until then to get new clothes. What I do is buy a small amount of new clothes basics (shorts, t-shirts, etc) every 25 pounds as a reward for reaching my interim goal. Just bought a new pair of shorts in a smaller size, and I'll be going to buy some more in 9 pounds, whee!

Woman, you look fabulous! Keep it up!
-
Just ordered a cool t-shirt from Tee Fury, and only had to get an XL instead of a 2XL. Whee!

1) I can fit into almost all of my "skinny" jeans now. 2) No longer wearing 2X t-shirts 3) I can use my Wii Fit now (was too heavy for it before)

Chai bubble tea, and I care not who knows it -- it was GOOOOOOOOOD.

If you're eating right and exercising, it probably *is* the stress and lack of sleep that's stopping your weight loss. Unfortunately, that's one part of your life that isn't going away any time soon (my sister has an autistic 24-year old son and autistic 15-year-old daughter -- my niece has a fairly severe sleep disorder,…

That is so inspiring, especially since I started at 306 (down from a high of 324) and my ultimate goal is 150 or thereabouts. You look amazing, and you are DEFINITELY going to reach your goal. Go you!

22 years with Hashimoto's here -- you really do need to see an endocrinologist and get your levels balanced. Once that happens, weight loss will be easier, but it won't be as easy as for someone who has a normal thyroid. I've found that bumping up my protein intake and decreasing my carbs with regards to macronutrients…

I'm getting whatever needs to be tucked, tucked (since I'll be losing a total of 174 pounds, that's a lot). After that, the world is my oyster.

I went to a friend's theatrical show, which was in a theater with these really tiny seats. I had to wedge myself into one, and was miserably uncomfortable all through the first act. Then, when I levered myself up during intermission, I tore my jeans on the armrest. Sweet-talked the management into letting me sit in a…

Yep, that's one hell of a stressful situation. That being said, you really do need to eat some more right now, because 300 calories ain't enough for this time of day, and I'll bet your blood sugar is low and is having a lousy effect on your mood. Go have whatever you have on hand that's healthy -- an apple, some nuts,…

If you're feeling shaky and weak, that's telling you right there that 800 cal/day is way too freaking low, and I'm speaking as someone who's had a low-functioning thyroid for 21 years. As many other posters have already mentioned, doctors are not necessarily knowledgeable about nutrition -- hie thee to an accredited…

Oh heck yes. Both ends of my menstrual cycle wind up with me bloated.

PCOS and Hashimoto's here, too, and it sucks donkey balls. But you've done SO well -- good for you!!!

We were in Florida and went to see a play starring two friends of mine. It was a little house with funky second-hand theater seats, and to my horror I discovered I almost didn't fit into the theater seat. I was in agony for the entire first act. Then I ripped my pants getting out of that vise -- such fun. The house let me…

I just spent three hours cleaning/dusting/deodorizing the ground floor (including scrubbing out a cat box and cage tray, spot shampooing a carpet and cleaning a bathroom), and I don't want to collapse in an exhausted ball! Hell, I may clean upstairs this afternoon, who knows?

I'm in week 2 of NRWFW and this is my current workout: 15 lb weights with shoulder presses Body weight with lunges (but I'm also 150 pounds overweight, so that's a lot of body weight) 20 lb weights for the step-ups 75 lbs for seated row BW for crunches BW for squats 70 lbs for lat pull downs 25 lbs for deadlift And I'm…

I'm so glad that you're in recovery and doing so well. Yes, it will be difficult at times, horribly so. But you're proving with every day that you are stronger, smarter, and better than that horrid voice in your head, and you will overcome it. {{hugs}}

Sorry to do this, but I couldn't resist -- if you like short story collections in e-book format, my short story collection RANDOM REALITIES (author name Melanie Fletcher) is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. It includes SF, fantasy, and horror with a little bit of comedy and mystery thrown in there (because sticking…

The goal is to lose the Oxford English Dictionary (unabridged) -- so far, I've lost all the additives an American eats in a year, which is a good thing!

Dollhouses rock! Real Good Toys has the best ones.

Awesome -- you're looking great!

This is absolutely amazing and shows one hell of a lot of hard work -- mucho congratulations!

I'm in Plano -- heard about the shooting this morning. I'm VERY glad you're all right, and my heart goes out to the victims and their families, as well as everyone who was traumatized by this.

Visible muscles in my arms, and a slowly but surely emerging collarbone -- love it!

This is absolutely amazing -- congratulations! You look incredible, and the health benefits are even better!
