Welcome! Feel free to send me a friend request. I've been on here for nearly a couple of years now. Very very motivated right now to drop the last 20-25lbs I have to go. Best wishes to you!

We have Dalton (8yrs) and Thomas (7mo). I love the name Holden, too.

I'm really enjoying the change-up from 30 Day Shred, with this level 1 of Ripped in 30. Some of the same moves from 30DS, but it's also changed up some, and it's nice to know that I won't have to do any of these moves again in subsequent levels. I have 2 more days of level 1, then it's on to level 2! :-D

Yes, same here. I feel strong today after Day 2! :)

Hello! I've done the Shred 2 times before this current time. I have a set of 3lb weights and a set of 5s. As soon as I get the form down pat using the 3s and it becomes easy to do with them, I switch up to the 5s... all depending on each move individually. So I have both sets within easy reach throughout each workout. :)

You're welcome! How did your first day of level 2 go?
-
Accomplished level 1 this morning. One more go tomorrow, then I'm starting level 2 on Wednesday. Hope you all had a great Easter!

I agree, how sweet! It's great to have such awesome support from our loved ones. :)

Level 1 day 4 down. Two more days of level 1 for me (Sun & Mon), then it's on to level 2 starting Wed next week. I'm surprising myself with how quickly I'm recovering much of the endurance and strength I had pre-pregnancy. I also feel more determination and focus, plus a higher pain tolerance level this time around. I…

Shred day level 1 complete! Husband and I did it together with baby Thomas cheering us on. I'd been using 3lb weights but bumped up to 5lbs today. Arms = jello. My legs are feeling great though! Shred day again tomorrow followed by a cardio day Friday.

I took a cardio day yesterday too (running). Today, my muscles are still sore but it's much more tolerable now. Back to 30DS this evening!
-
I think stretching more after the Shred may help, as well as staying well hydrated. A soak in a hot bath also seemed to help me out yesterday.
-
I need to add more stretching. I thought about doing a gentle yoga workout right after the Shred.

I started 30DS yesterday. I also started a MFP group for those completing it in April. Feel free to join if you wish! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/4228-30-day-shred-support-group

I think it's more of a personal preference. I prefer to do the workout in the morning myself; it seems to set me up for more energy throughout the day. And then it would give you time to fit more cardio in during the evening.
-
Great work!! That's not an easy thing to get through. I made it through them yesterday too, barely.. lol
-
First day of level 1. Wow. I've missed Jillian! I struggled through and felt like complete Jello after I was finished, but boy do I feel good now! Though I know I'll wake up sore tomorrow, I'm ready to do it all over again. :)

Hi! I'm starting today and will be taking before photos and measurements here shortly, before I begin. I'll be mixing in some cardio days & a rest day once a week. I'll update a little later, too. Best wishes!

Excellent!! That's no easy task!
