That's why I made sure to include the chart. My weight has literally been all over the place, but I've lost 30.6 lbs in about 6 months and couldn't be happier about it! :)

Do you have a fit bit or other activity tracker linked to your account? The Activity Level on MFP is meant to be your daily activity outside of intentional exercise. So just what you normally do in a day (more days than not) if you didn't exercise. Then you're supposed to add in your exercise (or let your tracker do that…

If I'd have waited just one more day, I could have said 30+ lbs down - as I weighed in at 179.4 on Saturday morning!!! Thank you!!! :) CICO just means Calories In vs Calories Out - the basic gist of it is just that you have to eat less than you burn. Also that you don't necessarily…

Hello group! I'm Tiffany - happily married mom of four boys (13, 10, 7, and 7 months). My 6 week postpartum weight was 210 lbs (down from 240+ at time of delivery). I'm currently sitting at 181lbs and my UGW is 135. My calorie goal in MFP is set to 2lb/week loss (1200 calories), but I have a fitbit that adds to that and I…

FYI - I've been at this [this time] since December. I've lost almost 30 lbs. Here's what my weight loss has looked like the last 3 months: You'll notice it goes up and down, up and down, but the overall trend is downward. Stay the course and you WILL see results!

You're tracking calories - but are you weighing all solids/semi-solids on a food scale and measuring out all liquids? This chart may help you:

Exactly. *mic drop*

That is EXACTLY how it works. Scientifically speaking - as long as you're under your calorie goal, you will lose weight. The NUTRITION you're getting won't be ideal - that's for sure. BUT, you would still lose weight.

Where did OP say that her goal was FAT loss specifically?

A Dr. Oz follower?

I think OP realized what was going on and isn't coming back... :expressionless:

^ Yup.
