@CupcakeCrusoe - thanks for the welcome. I think I've finally hit rock bottom and am finally feeling the motivation and determination to get healthy. @mling84 that is a GREAT idea to save half your calories for after work - as dinner with the family is usually my biggest meal of the day.
-
No offense or rudeness intended - but how sure are you that you're eating as little as you think you are? Are you accurately weighing and logging everything you eat? Including all liquid calories? Including all bites, licks, tastes, etc?

Hello! I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism last year and have gained 50+ lbs. I just keep gaining. I'm starting TODAY to take back my health and my body. ๐๐ผ
-
@2013allen - you look amazing! Great job! My start (current) weight is higher than yours, but this gives me hope. How long between pictures?

I so needed to hear this today. I have hypothyroidism and have been steadily gaining weight since my diagnosis and have been extremely depressed about it. Your progress is amazing and it gives me hope. I had my moment today - I have to do this - for me. No one else can. Hopefully I'll be back in a year posting my successโฆ

I've went off track and stopped taking it a few times since December. Got back as high as 177, but as of today I'm at 167.8. Working on my last month of supply and need to make it worthwhile. When you put the activity in on MFP, if your Fitbit is linked, it will go there and replace your activity from that time period and re-adjust I believe. Check out the fitbit group - http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

I was just about to upload the infographic that @quiksylver296 uploaded - as that is a GREAT place to start. (See above.) @theledger5 Pre-packaged items can be off by 30% (or more) from what the packaging says. For example: I had a fiber one bar the other day - package said it was a 33g portion for 140 calories. I weighed it out of curiousity and it was 38g - which means it was 161 calories, not 140. Each little difference like this can addโฆ
