Congratulations - this is so inspiring! I'm also 5 ft 6 and started at 16st 13 (237 lb) on Jan 1st I've now reached 15st 8 (219lb) and am aiming for somewhere between 140 and 150 lb (10st something basically) Your story has really encouraged me that it is possible, I've just got to keep at it. Loved all the advice too :)…

^^^This!

^^^ This is very cute! Love it :) ^^^ I struggle with them too - think it's mainly the co-ordination thing for me. Just about to do Level 1, Day 7
-
Other people seem to have been logging it as circuit training so that's what I've been doing.
-
I'm the same with the butt kicks, they're so much easier on circuit three,. Just done day 6 and it's definitely getting easier.
-
Congratulations! Awesome achievement!!!

Haven't got any photos but I'm 5'6, started at 237, I'm on 218 now and aiming for around 150 eventually. Feel free to add me if you want and we can motivate eachother along the way!

I'm a long way off my goal but the most noticeable thing for me is that I can feel biceps I never knew I had! Just wish I'd lose it off my stomach and hips now!
-
Most people seem to be doing 10 days on each level, but just whenever you feel ready really I'm going to try switching it up on day 11 but will see how it goes
-
Just done day 5 and feeling awesome! She's totally right when she says you notice the endurance go up. I worked out so much harder today than the other days, especially on the cardio :)
-
I did day 4 of level 1 yesterday, went swimming today so having a day off 30DS but will get back on it tomorrow
-
Great work!!!! I'm 5'6" and also started at 237lbs, down to 218lbs now and wish I'd taken photos at the start so I could see the difference
-
Awesome achievement - great work!!!
-
Everything I've seen on here suggests logging it as circuit training under cardio
-
Congratulations! I'm so excited to get there...started on Jan 1st and I'm halfway there, 18.5lb lost, 18.5 to go to hit 200 (then another 50 or so after that...but just taking this thing one step at a time!)

Feel free to add me anyone. I log on every day and find the support on here amazing! :) I'm 26, 5'6", started at 237lb and have lost 18lb so far - aiming for around 150 Clare

I do exactly this! Have done two days of 30DS so far. I've been swimming twice a week for the last few weeks too so if I manage that plus four days of 30DS I can fit in a rest day too which I figure is no bad thing. Let's all keep on encouraging eachother through this - I'm sure I'd give up otherwise!

I did my first day yesterday and it wasn't as horrific as I was expecting. I'm 219 pounds and was really worried I wouldn't be able to get through it. Struggled with the bicycle crunches towards the end and had to take a bit of a breather but otherwise it was ok. I can feel it a little in my muscles this morning but…

Hi there, I'm 26 and aiming to lose 87lb in total...started on Jan 1st and have lost 18lb so far. Feel free to add me as a friend. Clare
-
It depends on what you're used to doing and how quickly you want to lose. If you're going from doing nothing at all to 20 mins per day then that's an improvement. If you're already pretty active and are used to doing hour long workouts then it's probably nowhere near enough
-
Feel free to add me too, I'm a 26 year old from Britain - started here on Jan 1st with 87lb to lose in order to hit my goal weight, I've lost 18 so far...getting there one step at a time :)
-
If I know what I'm going to have then I figure I may aswell log in advance. Otherwise it's just as and when I eat it. In terms of low-cal snacks - blueberries are amazing, raw carrots too, weightwatchers do a range of snack size cake bars (I love the carrot cake one) for around 80 calories, I've also made up some sugar…

I'm paying 149.9p a litre because I'm not mainland UK so they add on a minimum of 8 pence for "shipping costs"

I weigh myself every morning but I fully expect it to fluctuate during the week. I record any losses on here whenever they happen and write down my weight once a week (Wed) regardless of whether it's up or down.
-
I expected it to adjust as I went along but it hasn't seemed to so periodically I just go back into settings - adjust diet/fitness profile and it brings up new figures
-
I completely agree that mini goals are the way forward. I started a thread this morning (http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/487536-mini-goals) with a whole pile of goals I have lined up. I've achieved the first one and would love to hit the second (20lb loss) by Valentine's Day if possible!
-
Welcome and good luck hitting those goals! MFP has completely changed things for me, it's hard work but the weight is coming off bit by bit so I'm getting there :)

Ha! I never actually knew it stood for anything, knew what it meant but hadn't seen it as Bump Up My Post before!
