This. And sometimes people, like myself, do it so it gets saved in 'my topics' and then they can go back to it when they have time to focus on it. Especially recipes.

Sounds yummy, maybe I'll try it later. I'm just scared because, for some reason, I am prone to microwave fires. I'm sure my death will be in newspapers one day: "girl dies while reheating leftovers'. So maybe I should pass this recipe along to someone more capable in the house.

Can't wait to look at this later

I try to meet goal every day, but when I spike (and it happens a lot), I just try to even out for my week. Within reason, of course.

I'm curious about the serving sizes, if one serving is less than 5 calories.

Oh and I have heard that many organizations will feed malnourished kids lots of ovaltine to gain weight. My friend drinks it constantly to keep her weight up since her metabolism is freakishly effective. It's supposed to have vitamins and whatnot, I think. But it sounds like, along with a healthy diet, ice cream wouldn't…

Nuts, seeds and olive oil? What's great (for him but bad for us) is that it's hard to stop eating cashews and the like once you start!

Homemade hummus with pita is what I usually take places. It's fast, inexpensive and yummy.

Walden Farms seems to be amazing. But I just don't understand how it is possible. Are the serving sizes ridiculously small?

After getting a heart rate monitor I found that some of Mfp's estimates were high, some perfect and some were even way too low. They do the best they can and the database works for most people just fine. Buy a hrm if you want to be sure though.

Ten pounds in a week? I don't know if anyone will have any answers for you. Taking it slow will probably be best for your body, regardless of a competition being on the line. Though I am curious what people will suggest.

Grapes, half cup of unsweetened applesauce, orange juice ice cubes, popcorn, baby carrots with spicy mustard, one or two Hershey kisses for a sugar fix, saltine crackers, one tuna serving, grapefruit, jello, cantaloup, apple butter, half an english muffin, light and crisp wasa crackers. There's a ton, now that I think of…

There's a nutella Popsicle recipe floating around the forums somewherep

I think they are very good, but the Original can be kindof bland. Anything with a little something more than "Original" is a good place to start. Their Spicy Chik'n is particularly yummy. I do suggest that you don't form your opinion after just trying one type. MorningStar is another brand. I would try around before…

Bumping for later! Great ideas!

Thanks for the input everyone! You are putting my mind at ease. However I might up my activity level a bit. I wonder if maybe I am not as sedentary as I think.

Like I said, I FEEL okay. But I lost 2.5 this week, and around the same every week too, even though I set myself to 1 lbs a week. I LOVE that I am losing weight, dont get me wrong! But I dont want it to hurt me in the long run if I dont do it right. And I heard that eating below BMR depleats your muscles, which I wouldnt…

1400 cals a day (it started at around 1500, but automatically adjusted a decrease after every 10 lbs)
-
Bump. Again. I am confused, please help me out. If my BMR is 1500 ish then what should I be consuming to lose weight without being unhealthy? If MFP is wrong then I want to fix it.
-
I am supposed to lose 1 but its sometimes more than that. Thanks though!!

Hah! What about gun control and gay marriage?

Let's talk about politics, abortion, euthanasia and global warming now.

Firstly, I don't plan on children either but if I did have them I would raise them that those are two ways of thinking. I would try to give them a well rounded education in both, as well as a good understanding of other religions. Then, when they get old enough, they can choose. I would encourage them to embrace whatever…

I have to say I am pretty surprised with the answers. I honestly thought 'sure, as long as we respect each others beliefs and raise our kids learning from both perspectives, so they can to do the same' would be the general gist of it. I'm not judging, just observing.
-
In before the thread locks!! (to answer your question, I would date someone with different beliefs as long as we can respect each other's decision. However I do not intend to have children. I don't know how I'd think differently if I wanted kids. I do think it's possible that your ex is genuine though.)

You're definitely not alone! I haven't though my about this tape in ages but I love it! It was so fun!

This sounds great, i cant wait to try it.

BUMP so I can do this sometime. It sounds yummy!

I know this is my two cents and not answering your question but I have to say: This guy sounds like a tool. Each little thing he does isn't so bad, but when added up I read it as something that could grow to be a dangerous relationship. Now, maybe I am just judgemental, that is for you to decide. All I ask is please step…
