Not to buy clothes too far ahead of season as you may be a lot smaller by then and realize it is too big to wear. And that all medium size clothes are equal , some fit great and others are too big

Went to MD for annual exam and I explained to her I wanted to lose more weight but she said not to focus on scale as she could see I had much more muscle from all the exercise......She also changed diagnosis in chart from Obese to Overweight....not sure if I will ever fit in a standard BMI chart with all the weights I do…

Like they say everyone has an opinion and it all depends on how you do the work and how the box you go to and the coaches handle teaching the movements. I did research on local crossfit boxes and found a reputable one and will take my chances since I am 51 and feeling better than I have in 25 years. There is good and bad…

This one guy just goes too far so now I just avoid him. He told me 9 months ago he was trying to lose weight and hasn't had much success so maybe he overcompensating for his own lack of success

Yes this amuses me as I have lost significant weight and also have been doing crossfit for almost a year and people ask me what I am doing I tell them CICO and exercise, specifically crossfit and they all have to tell me how crossfit isn't safe and how I will get hurt.....The only hurt I feel is from the muscle soreness…

that there will be one person who makes a big deal out of your weight loss every time you see them that it actually gets irritating as he does it loudly and I don't want all the attention.

Went out to eat with friends last night, ate a little more than I had planned but I am ok with it and moving on and was on track today with my calories. It has become more of lifestyle than a diet

That once you meet a goal which seemed so far away in the beginning you need to reset your goals as you realize they were not so unrealistic and that you can do so much more than you thought when you started.

This is sort of a scale victory but not for me, I have noticed my husband looked as if he had lost some weight so I asked him if he had weighed himself lately and he said no. Then he weighed himself and told me he had lost 13 pounds since September at MD office visit and he really hasn't tried, I guess they way I am…

The comments you will get from anyone: I had a new one today, I had an older man about 80 ask me why I was losing weight as it is usually because a woman is looking for a new man. First I said I am with the man I want to be with and then he asked again if I had something going on. This man is not a close friend and is now…

That when you see other overweight people you want to go to them and tell them how much better you can feel with diet and exercise. Having to restrain myself at times as I know how different I feel after losing 59 pounds.

I have made a decision to try a lower carb eating plan to reduce processed foods and see how my body reacts as I have had a major slow down with weight loss. My NSV is I have done my research and I feel confident with getting my carbs for mostly veggies, fruits and nuts. So mini goals is to do for a full 3 weeks and be…

That is a great idea, I need to do that

I love lifting and do it with Crossfit. I have a friends daughter(38 years old) who keeps saying she can't lift because she gets too big. I wish she could understand that she will not get big, the reasons she is getting bigger is due to her drinking and eating way to much as well as sitting on couch looking at her phone…

Awesome job, I have done something similar but instead of refined sugar I use real maple syrup and it is so good I do not even need cream anymore .Keep up the great work.

I had an injury to my knee but didn't stop going to crossfit class, my coaches just modified work out to not aggravate my knee.....didn't want to stay home as that starts a bad habit.
-
Thank you.....The Cross fit group I found has really changed my life. A group of very supportive people who encourage each other at every session and we laugh and have fun as well as work hard.

Seeing an acquaintance today who I had not seen it at least 10 months and he started to shake my hand and introduce himself when he finally realized it was me just 55 pounds lighter.....It was a good laugh
