well done and I agree, I forget how good I feel. I am so torn at the moment about continuing paleo or not. I just need to sort myself out, but good for you.

We sometimes do partner wods but it is usually a complete wod and partners split to strengths etc. Once you know people in your box these are really good as everyone works hard but if their is a big difference in fitness one person can do more work. I have never worked with anyone that has worried about this, as long as…

I can add a plus one for beyond the whiteboard

I have had 5 days off Crossfit over Easter and ate chocolate and hot cross buns. Got on the scales and have dropped weight! Broke that barrier I have not been able to get through. It is crazy but I think it was the break from exercising and my body caught up or something. Persevere and take measurements now, even if they…

Oh I feel your pain. Take measurements!!!!!!!!!! I have started taking measurements again. In March I have lost nothing on the scales but have lost 5cm off my waist (where I carry all my weight) and 1cm each from hips, arms and calf. I get frustrated with the scales. I dont care what I weigh but I just keep thinking that I…

Don't know if you are on pinterest but there are heaps of pre made wods for home, no equipment, all sorts of different things. I often have a sticky beak and you can just pick and choose what suits you. I am sure you would find plenty that match what you are after.

haha, that's great!

My box is great so I have no experience in this. But... What are other people saying? Can you talk to the owners or some of the coaches? Are there any avenues for giving feedback, maybe send a polite email with your concerns if you don't want to do it face to face? Have you lost key people like a great coach or something…

Yes flab2fab27. Any RX score will rank over any scaled attempt. Everyone I know who can't do c2b did 10 ohs at RX and then stopped because they will rank above people who went scaled. I know a few people though who know it does not matter because they are a million miles from getting in to regionals so they did scaled and…

Watching Dave Castro yesterday at the announcement I was pretty unimpressed, he seemed a bit of a d**k. But I did 15.1 this morning, great atmosphere in the box and lots of fun to be honest. So many people did PRs. I watched one woman go Rx and nailed it. Huge step up for her. All in all I think it is worth it for the fun…

I love how Mark talks about exercise. I do crossfit, so at the moment I am good for exercise but I still read his stuff and think about how it could work for me. Just adding more in to a day is great, as you seem to be finding. Keep up the good work!

I generally don't log. Every now and then I log just to see how many calories I am eating, not that I am worried, it is just seems to be good to check in now and then. Bit it is not very often. I agree with you, if I concentrate on being healthy and eating well, my weight will take care of itself. I have about 20 kilos to…

well done lovelyrose, hope your day goes well.

I also just put it in as 1 calorie, having created my own exercise, because I am not counting calories at the moment but even when I was I don't eat back my calories so it does not matter. Up to you if you need to track or not.

Thanks all. I don't get worked up about it, I just get amazed. I hadn't thought about the not paying the affiliate costs angle - good thought! Thanks for the thoughts : )

What is involved? I am happy to help out : )

I am having one day off and then straight back to it, strict, for another four weeks. I really like checking in with the group every day, it keeps me thinking about what I am eating. I am happy to help out however I need to. I am happy with the idea of starting a new group. May get some new people in to it. And keep all…

I have never made meatloaf but think I would love it - would love to see the recipe.

Well done all! Quinn, enjoy your weekend.

Well done!

Thanks all, that is why we post here!!! I have been thinking about what you all wrote. I do need to look at salt I think, maybe having too much. I'll work on that for a few days and see how it goes. I did take measurements at the start so will need to see those at the end of the 30 days also. And crossfit is going really…

Went out for lunch today and had the most amazing asparagus and haloumi salad with pear and seeds on rocket. I know haloumi is not strictly paleo but a little bit of dairy does me no harm. It was incredible and has motivated me to get some salad stuff for this week. All good, feeling great. Enjoying a very even and…

Haha, great post!!! Me too.

18 months training and one month not training, your strength will be back in no time. Welcome!

drinking a tiny bit of apple cider vinegar in a bottle of water each day seems to help. I read that it might, tried it and have not had the physical cravings having gone cold turkey. It of course does not help with the mental cravings, that takes will power.

Sounds like you are doing well Jessa. So sorry about your dog, animals become such an important part of our lives. In regards to the drink, I guess it depends on why you are doing the reset. If it is to simply eat better, then one drink wont matter. If it is about headspace and not always "breaking the rules" then you may…

crossfit - Deadlifting 90kg (198lb), back squat about 65kg (143lb), front squat about 55kg (121lb), push press about 30kg (66lb) and then all the other stuff you do in crossfit.

Sorry, steam clutch I don't drink coffee so can't help. I am a massive tea drinker, black tea with milk and this month have gone dairy free so no (usual) tea for me. I have been drinking green teas and different things and so far it has been fine, I don't feel the need for my old cuppa. This would be a very different issue…
