Thread killer. :-1: Lately when I log in, I see my name as the last to post several days prior. I am sorry my situation seems to have caused a damper on the group. I am proud of us and hope we will all keep pushing toward our goals, regardless of whatever circumstances we are facing. Thank you for hanging in there!

Finally - today - the insurance was approved and I can have the MRI and needle biopsy. Waiting for a call for the appointment. Also, I have an appointment for lab work with a D.O. tomorrow. This particular doctor and his family are very interested in health for the whole person, not just writing prescriptions. I am looking…

Update on goal 1 - Now 2 pounds closer - only 4 pounds until I hit this first goal. Sometimes it is the daily increments that keep me moving in the right direction. :smile:

Sorry, I meant to post and just never logged in yesterday. Skin punch biopsy was negative. :smile: They will do an MRI to determine the correct spot to do a needle biopsy. That may happen next week. There is something happening in my body - just not sure what yet. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!

No exercise today, but I logged all foods. I have to factor school into my schedule now and figuring out when to put water aerobics. No biopsy results today, but I am hopeful for tomorrow.

I started exercising and logging again today.

Thank you, ladies. I had a biopsy yesterday and will have results next week. Will also likely have an MRI next week regardless of biopsy results. Until then, I am living every moment I draw breath to the best of my ability.

I like the target idea. Goal 1) 6 pounds and I will be back at the weight I was 3 years ago Goal 2) 11 more pounds and I will be 35-40 pounds from goal range! Goal 3) 10 more pounds and I will be at my post-divorce weight without the stress! Stopping here and as I check off a goal, I will add a goal. :smile:

Update: I had a clinic visit today that revealed a one large and one small lump with no palpable lymph activity and no necrosis. With the size of the large lump without necrosis, she was encouraged and believes this will be benign. I will have a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound on August 1. It would be sooner, but I am…

I was able to keep up with my kids and grandkids through the three-day weekend and all the kiddos at Vacation Bible School this week. Two days to go and I have a week to prepare for a weekend event and church camp. That will conclude my scheduled activities for the summer, then I can work on other projects. :-)

My 31-year old son challenged me yesterday. Not to a specific task, but to not limit myself. Today I mowed half the yard with a push mower (riding mower is broken) - two 90 minute sessions as fast as I could go and not choke down the mower motor. I have about the same amount to mow tomorrow. I like the challenges. If a particular challenge you post doesn't fit a person's abilities (like pushups for me), we could post our modified version of that as completed. For me, instead of pushups, I would do a pushup on a high counter.
