Hi I'm Stephanie - I'm new to keto, new to discussion boards in MFP, and not at all new to working at weight loss. In the past I've tried counting calories, often in MFP. I've had very little success sticking to plans, staying motivated, etc. I have 200 pounds to lose (yikes! writing it makes it so real!). I thought I…

So great @bregalad5, @danielle7577, @prof_newme, @shirayne, and anyone I missed! Way to go! I've got my lunch packed, my breakfast prepped, my meals and exercise planned... I'm ready for a great, healthy week. :)

@jonesm97 Glad you're feeling a little better - how are things going in the last day or two? @prof_newme I'm sure it is just a minor setback. You got this! @shirayne Thank you bunches for keeping this thread moving and encouraging everyone. :) @didjaever I can't recall days like that - but I have a friend who has constant…

You guys, we're all doing so well! I've had a couple of nights recently where I ate like my old normal - and I definitely felt the effects - no energy, unpleasant digestive issues, feeling heavy and overall blah! I'm proud of myself today for ordering the egg white omelet at breakfast, walking to yoga class, and being…

Hey all, happy March! It's been a crazy last couple weeks for me, so I'm glad to be back in the swing. I had a good day today. I still ate slightly above the calories I wanted, but I ate all kinds of great superfoods, and feel fabulous and really satisfied because of it. I hope you all are off to a good start this week.

@danielle7577 Even though I have many more habits to change, I'm counting it as progress that I've tracked all week, and especially that I've avoided fast food all week. Yay! I have been in a really expensive and terribly unhealthy habit of stopping MULTIPLE times a week, sometimes more than once a day, either for fast…

Hey all - Good work on your goals! I love reading all your goals and accomplishments. Wednesday 2/18 1. Get up on time, no snooze. 2. Buy no food - eat packed lunch and butternut soup for supper. Track all of it. 3. Walk to neighbor's in the evening.

@shebya72 - I have recently summitted that mountain, and I am so mad about it! Congrats on heading back down the other side. I'm so ready to move more freely, fit back into clothes, and feel comfortable in more spaces again! Best of luck!

@jencultie, I know that struggle all too well! I cannot believe the money and calories I spend at fast food restaurants and on sugary treats. It is habit and probably addiction, and I have to break the cycle! Tomorrow - no fast food!! Cheers!

Thanks for the welcome Shirayne! Si se puede!!! :) Glad the chowder's improving! I made some yummy butternut squash soup last night. I think the only tweak I'd make is to dial back the cream. Cheers to good food and life well-lived. :)

Hi all, I've used MFP plenty of times in the past for my own tracking, and I've got a constant desire to change my habits to healthy ones. But I'm now at my heaviest ever, and (again) feeling a little desperate. I'm overwhelmed with the amount of work it will really take to get to the health level I want. I'm excited to…

Cheers, all. I am not new to MFP, but I've never gotten involved much with the community. I have been gaining for months, at my highest weight ever, and I have to try something different! I like the idea of posting small manageable goals and one day at a time. I feel overwhelmed with anything else right now. My longer-term…
