Agreed! I eat almost all snack food directly out of my measuring cups. I have tons of measuring cups for both dry and liquid ingredients, and usually once I measure something, I'm too lazy to dirty another dish, so I just eat from that cup.

If you prefer Breyer's Delights over Halo Top and Enlightened then we must have complete opposite taste buds! Where did you find these Skinny Cow pints? I've never seen them before! How long have they been out??[/quote] True, everyone's tastes are a little different. I find that Halo especially upsets my stomach. I got the…

I tried the Fudgetastic Java. It was alright, the fudge tasted pretty artificial. The coffee flavor was decent, but unremarkable. On the whole, I prefer the Breyer's Delights over Skinny Cow, Halo and Enlightened.

Can you make your diary public so we can help you? You can't out-exercise a poor diet. You have to eat fewer calories than you burn in order to lose weight. You won't know if you're eating at a deficit unless you're carefully weighing/measuring and logging ALL your food. If you are logging everything (and you're sure about…

WRONG. This person (who is brand new to MFP and has not entered any info in their profile, or shared any info about their background) is not giving you good advice. Losing weight is all about calories in vs. calories out (CICO). If you properly weigh, measure and log what you eat, and you have a deficit, you will lose…

I like Quest bars, but they sometimes upset my stomach. I love the Balance brand bars, especially the Mint Cookie Crunch. They don't have that powdery fake taste, and are the closest thing I've found to actual chocolate. Mint cookie is 200 cal, 14g protein. https://www.balance.com/products/chocolate-mint-cookie-crunch/

Welcome. Taking the first steps can be the hardest. This is a great place to find motivation and support. Add friends, read the forums (with a grain of salt of course) and look at the inspiring transformation pics. I'm also a 35-yr-old mother, with two young daughters. I've been overweight since I was 10 or 11 years old,…

Hi Kelly, congrats on the decision to get started! Changing your lifestyle can be a struggle, especially in the beginning, but you will feel amazing once the pounds start coming off. My weight has been up and down quite a bit over the last ten years, but I started this past May at 242 lbs. I'm currently at 214.6 and hoping…

I believe I was part of this Equifax breach. Someone is currently trying to steal my identity, and I had to file a police report yesterday. Luckily for me, he's the dumbest criminal ever. In addition to pretending to be me ON THE PHONE with stores (he's an old man, I'm a young woman), he's also opening accounts using my…

How old are you? What kind of training are you doing? Do you weigh 112 pounds or 112 kg? Either way, it's a very small amount of weight to lose. Your weight will always fluctuate from day to day, within a 1-5 pound range.

How are you defining "internet". What if I can't pronounce that? Is it bad for me?

Welcome! This is a great place to find support and motivation. Best of luck to you on your journey.

I've never tried WW, but if you can discipline yourself to track calories, this website/app can be an amazing tool. I've found a lot of support and inspiration here. I feel accountable to my friends on MFP, and we all share in each others' successes and setbacks. Best of luck getting back on the right track, and working…

I used to work in a college visitor center, with a permanent display of free chocolate, gummy bears, skittles, etc. I had a sign on my desk that said "DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THE CANDY". I like to tag inspirational quotes and such on twitter and instagram. A few of my favorites right now are: "You didn't come this far to only…
