Saturdays are my cheat days. I don't overdo it and eat crap for the entire day but I eat things that I crave that I don't have time to make during the week. I was craving lasagna last week so on my cheat day I made lasagna with layers of veggies (instead of noodles) with lowfat cheese. Although I have a cheat day I still…

It depends what I have on hand. Ketchup Ranch Dresssing or Greek Yogurt Tartar Sace.

For me when I make stir fry I don't need soy sauce but I like the physical appeal of how it makes the rice looks. To make it healthier I use ginger, garlic, and other spices plus browning (http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-jamaican-choice-browning-i210552). A little goes a long way and it's a lot less calories than…

+1 (lol) Luckily for me I dislike sweet drinks so I don't have to worry about my sugar intake because I avoid drinks with high levels of sugar. This wasn't always the case. When I first lost 50llbs a few years ago I cut out juices, sodas, and began to put less sugar in my coffee. Water was my power drink and to this day…

I've got to try this.

I'm a homemade junkie too. I once made ketchup from scratch! :). Under the Food tab there is a section where you can input ingridients and it'll tell you how many calories depending on how many servings.

I may not log the food right away but I definately don't lie when I do. My breakfasts and lunchs are usually pre-planned so I log them before bed for the following day. Today they had cookies at work and I ate three of them and I made sure I logged them as soon as I got home because I needed to plan how much to eat for…

I always start my day with a bowl of oatmeal. I've never soaked them overnight but I'm trying it tonight for tomorrow. I don't know what chia seeds are but I will definately pick some up when I go grocery shopping next. I'm always open to trying new things.

I love it. I buy the Oikos brand and it taste great. I use it for everything from tartar sauce to a syrup subsitute to icing on plain cake. It's weird because I was never a yogurt eater until I jumped on the bandwagon and tried it.

Just have them in moderation. Although a good source of protein they are high in fat.

I usually don't eat them because I'm full. If I do I'll go 100 or 150 calories over by treating myself to crepes with nutella and 1/3 banana. I feel I owe myself that treat because I really push myself to work out. I don't make it a habit to do it everyday but there are those occassional days where I have a chocolate…

Thank you. I will try switiching around my routine.

In the morning before I workout I take my iron supplement thinking that it would help. Thank you for the infromation. I will check out your food diary. I usually workout right after my first breakfast which is a plain bowl of oatmeal. If not then it's after work before my dinner. My carb intake for the day is suppose to be…

I feel like that everyday. I know it's good to have long term goals but I find making goals throughout the day helps to keep me motivated. I absolutely hate getting up in the morning to workout (I'd rather sleep in) but I push myself to do it because I know it'll keep me motivated for the rest of the day. When I have those…

I love food. Cooking is my passion and it's evident in how I’ve been treating my body. Like a neverending tunnel of junk-high calorie-high fat-high carb foods. I overdue it and I don’t know when to stop eating. For the past 2+ years I've been yoyo dieting with binge periods in between. I’m also an emotional eater. When I…
