Maybe I should give 30DS another shot...Thanks for sharing your AWESOME results!

I agree with the poster that said to take it slow. I've caught myself trying to dive too far into the deep end and I get bogged down. Pick one or two things to change that you can control. What is your vice? Do you snack a lot? Then make it your goal to say "no" to one snack a day. Don't cut them out all together as that…

Bump...I want to re-read to OP later and use my own goalsto find my own number.

Focus on one thing and one thing only.....PRESS ON AND KEEP MAKING PROGRESS EVERYDAY!! You are SUPPOSED to rejoice in all of your victories! Never feel bad about celebrating your own success! You're the only one that truely matters on this journey you're on. If you can't get excited every step of the way what would be your…

Everyone is different but I would NOT recommend any special diet that would not be sustainable for your lifetime (ie. low carb, high carb, etc) Once you stop those "diets" you often regain lost weight. I would suggest varying your exercise if you can. I know you said you have knee problems but maybe some strength training…

Yes, just start the timer and then stop when you are done. One of my favorite features is the sleep monitor. I use the wrist strap and start the stop watch when I go to sleep, stop the watch when I wake up. It tells me my quality of sleep!

You will only see your FitBit data on MFP if you burn an excess of what you would be expected to burn from your normal activity level. It will show up in your MFP exercise screen as FitBit Calorie adjustment for 1 minute and the total number of cals burned. Your FitBit is giving you your calories burned from all…

I've heard of powerblocks but I wasn't sure about them...they would certainly take less space. I like the idea of the home gym...part of my problem is mental block when it comes to which exercises to perform...feels like a universal set up clears some of that up for me.

I agree that it would be easier to help if we could see your diary. Remember, people aren't here to criticize you, we're here to help you. If you have trouble with someone nitpicking your diary, defriend them or report them. If you are able to take a long enough lunch to get ANY kind of exercise in that might be a great…

Did you hear him speak the words or was this via text/email. That could make a huge difference. Maybe he meant that your weight doesn't matter to him and it's not the object of his attraction to you. My BF can say the stupidest things sometimes and I instinctively react and get mad. Then when he explains himself better I'm…

^^^^THIS!! For me, if I start restricting and saying things are totally off limits that I love, I'm setting myself up for failure. The difference now versus before MFP....I pay attention to not just what I'm eating but how much and how that effects my daily goals.

I needed your inspiration today! Thanks for sharing your success!!

I love pretty much all things Batman! You would have so much fun with this costume!

If i deny myself anything or try to avoid it completely...i will fail. So yeah, I eat what I want (in smaller quantities than I used to) and I keep a close eye on cals. Most times, if I don't have the calories left in my "budget" for the day, I pass until another day. But if the last several days have been really strong, I…

This will be my greatest awesome moment when it gets here!!

No more boobie-do for you!! (you know the boobie-do? "her belly sticks out more than her boobie do!" lol) my belly still sticks out a bit more than my boobie to but I am starting to see where the definition between my rectus abdominus and my obleques is going to be!

THIS IS AMAZING!! CONGRATS!

I am 5'4" and felt my best in ..... wait for it.... high school. What? I was super active then! Anyway, I was 5'4" then too and weighed about 135-140pounds. My current goal is to get back to that weight, however, I am also trying to build more muscle than I think I had then so I may be 140-145 instead. Looking at my frame…

I drink LF Chocolate Milk after most of my workouts...I use the research about it's benefits as a post exercise treat as an excuse! I love milk! My SO used to call me the milk lady when we started dating because he thought it was weird that I drank milk almost daily.

Nope, there's nothing wrong with being pale! I used to tan as often as I could because I thought a tan made me look more "fit". I nearly never wore sun block and figured it was OK because I would get red and then the burn would fade to tan. I rarely even peeled. However I'm a -bit- older and wiser now and have decided…

I've considered the security thing but I also don't plan on putting my ta-tas or my booty on display for all to see. I like to be able to check on my own progress when I'm here though. Plus, you could always list a different home town/state to help with the anonymity :-)

This really has been a good read! Who knew a topic like this would stir so many emotions!!?? My family actually does have a casual brunch the day after weddings (it started when my sister got married and will probably end when I get married...we are 2 or 4 grandchildren in the family). It is always a very casual event and…

Once you get used to the moves, you will have NO PROBLEM getting your heart rate up during the HIITs!

my SO and I actually sleep in separate beds most nights. I need to go to bed a bit earlier than him and he likes to stay up late watching TV. I could actually sleep through that but once he falls asleep he is a VERY light sleeper and wakes up with my every move or sound. Every time I would wake him up, he would wake me up.…

You don't have to do the moves perfectly, you just need to do your best and KEEP MOVING! You'll do great!
