I drink anywhere from 50-70oz of water per day, no additives. In terms of meal prep, I have been doing it for a little while now. On Sunday I prepare my meals for the week. I prepare many different things such as salads for lunches, turkey wraps, etc. For dinners it is quinoa, brown rice, broccoli, asparagus, green beans,…

I have not paid very close attention to my appetite and energy levels when I have a lower carb day, however, after reading through this thread I do think that trying a lower carb diet for a couple of weeks will prove advantageous for me. On days that I spend a lot of time in the gym, I will allow more carbs to power me…

Prior to working out eat carbs, after your workout refuel your body with protein. In terms of loosing weight in general I would stick to a lower carb, higher protein diet.

When I did Insanity, only for 4 weeks, it was not a huge calorie burner. However, it was great at increasing my endurance and stamina, not only on the video but in my other cardio classes I take at the gym. I felt better and the sweat was definitely dripping off of me! I plan to restart and do the full 60 days in June/July.

I never eat my exercise calories back. I don't event input my exercise into myfitnesspal. I need to work on my willpower to only eat within my calorie target, I find that when I get home from work, I tend to eat and eat and eat without tracking anything. I plan my meals for the day in the morning, yet by the time I get…

I work out 1-2 hours per day 5-6 days a week. I do cardio daily, and strength train/lift 3-4 times a week (on a good week). I am a teacher so when we have breaks such as fall break, winter break, spring break, and summer I do two-a-days which is generally 3-4 hours 4 days a week and 1-2 the other days.

This is my first year wearing shorts, I wouldn't even try them on before. I never wore them because I felt too fat for them. I have always been critical of myself in every aspect of my life. I always like to look presentable and "in order". In shorts, I always felt sloppy and messy. In a few weeks I am going shopping and…

I too would love to have motivational buddies, I have gotten to the point where I find myself "cheating" a little bit.

I too would like to find someone with similar stats: I am about 5'5'' and currently weigh 169. I would like to get down to a comfortable weight, possibly between 140-150. I began this weight loss journey at 230lbs. I am not looking to be skinny, I want to be fit and healthy!

I use my digital food scale daily to weigh everything! I love that I know exactly how much I am eating, accuracy is key! Prior to purchasing my food scale my guesstimates were way off!
